Interim Measure for Study Permit Processing no Longer Applies for Quebec DLIs

In light of provincial regulatory changes to the Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) program on June 30, 2017, the interim measure introduced to process a study permit application for a Quebec designated learning institution (DLI) no longer applies.

Prior to June 30, officers were able to use the specially assigned DLI number O19495718351 for Quebec institutions that do not have an assigned DLI number. However, program delivery instructions have been revised to remove that interim measure and institutions in Quebec institutions must have their own unique and individually assigned DLI numbers.
