The International Skilled Worker - Express Entry sub-category of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has reopened. The government of Saskatchewan updated its website the morning of Wednesday, July 20 to announce that this Canadian immigration option was now open to new applications.

This sub-category is for skilled workers with experience in an in-demand occupation in Saskatchewan and who are already in the federal Express Entry pool. As this is an enhanced immigration category, a successful nomination will result in applicants being awarded 600 points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) and receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) at a subsequent draw from the Express Entry pool. This is the seventh time that the sub-category has opened since it was first introduced last year; the intake cap typically fills quickly, often within a matter of days, or even hours.
