Quebec Immigration - Areas of Training

Under the Skilled Workers (Professionals) category, in order to accumulate points for the Training criterion, the applicant must have earned a diploma or degree in areas which meet Quebec labor market requirements.

The diploma or degree must have been obtained in the five years previous to applying for Quebec immigration. If this is not the case, the applicant must have worked for at least one year out of the five years in a field directly related to the diploma or degree obtained.
