Quebec’s Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Diversité et de l'Inclusion (Ministry of Immigration, Diversity, and Inclusion, or MIDI) has announced that individuals who have submitted an application for a Quebec Selection Certificate (Certificat de sélection du Québec, or CSQ) through the online intake management system Mon projet Québec may modify and update their information in certain sections of the online profile.

Modification is restricted to certain sections of the online profile. Applicants may:

  • Update their contact information
  • add or remove a spouse or dependent child if their personal situation has changed since they submitted their application;
  • add one or more diplomas;
  • add language test results of proficiency in French or English;
  • update information regarding any family members who live in Quebec.

Mon projet Québec

As of January 2016, candidates for immigration to Canada through the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) must use the online intake management system Mon projet Québec in order to submit an application for immigration to Canada through the QSWP. Mon projet Québec allows candidates to complete their application for a CSQ online, make their payment, follow the status of their application, make changes to their application, and access personal electronic messaging throughout the process.

The government of Quebec aims to attract skilled immigrants to Quebec through the QSWP immigration program. Candidates are evaluated across a range of factors, including age, level of education, area of training, work experience, and language proficiency. The QSWP is a popular Canadian immigration program, with successful applicants and their families becoming eligible to obtain Canadian permanent resident status after receiving a CSQ from the government of Quebec.
