    Q 6F Details for homemaker

Thanks, I meant for that to be a filler in this example :P we have filled out the school name Edit - one other thing, would it be better to have homemaker listed during the time of the classes as well since she technically was a homemaker and studying at the same time or does Canada Immigration...

    Q 6F Details for homemaker

Thank you for the reply. what confused me was their wording, they made it seem like being a homemaker was considered as being unemployed and therefore it needs to follow the unemployment format where you need to confirm the dates under the "Work/Education" column. The call center was no help...

    Q 6F Details for homemaker

Hello I'm stuck on what to exactly write for my wife's homemaker entry under 6F. In the past 4 years my wife was a student then a homemaker, she has never worked while here. I know that in 6f it states "If you were not employed(i.e. you were unemployed, retired, homemaker, etc) you must...

    November 2014 Applicants

Thank you for the responses. So I think we should not include the LINC program but include the ESL programs since in their guide they say "Note: You are not required to submit proof of attendance at English/French as a second language training programs." On 6F section they say "Have you...

    November 2014 Applicants

Good afternoon everyone :) We are currently in the processing of submitting my wife's citizenship application. Hopefully by the end of this month. I've read the forum and spoke with CIC call center but I'm still a bit confused. My inquiry is about what to put in the 6F section for...

    Inland Application 2011

Nope that's pretty much how it happened :) , She was on a student permit and she is from a country that is not visa exempt(maybe that combo is the reason?). I can call CIC or go to the service Canada building and find out. I just it was odd.

    Inland Application 2011

We landed today in the Calgary office. It was quick and easy(10min). The only strange thing is the immigration officer said my wife cannot apply for her SIN until we get the permanent residence card in the mail. Other then then that everything else she can apply for with the paper that we...

    Inland Application 2011

Congrats on getting it done :D Our interview is tomorrow. So will update the forum on how it went. The only thing I'm not sure about are the photographs. In the letter it says two photographs are required for each member of your family that is sponsored. They failed to mention what kind of...

    Inland Application 2011

I think if it's a 15min "interview", it might just be formal stuff and getting your paper work ready. Usually landing interviews are just that.

    Inland Application 2011

We applied in july last year and we have our interview on july 26th. It does seem odd that you still have not gotten an interview date. Our local office is in Calgary by the way. I hope that helps.

    Inland Application 2011

I'll add my experience with the fingerprints. We did not send a local police clearance with our application and let CIC do it. Our application took 11 months to get AIP. Mind you we were a very straight forward case and my wife has a very uncommon first and last name so that could have helped :)

    Inland Application 2011

I think it all depends on the person's situation. For the most part if they do not have any doubts and you have supplied all the required documents then it seems second stage is approved very quickly. If however you missed anything or they have questions if your relationship is genuine then it...

    Inland Application 2011

After reading the few posts about extending the status as a visitor and not assuming that implied status will be good enough, I logged in to check my wife's application status and found a fantastic surprise!!!! We received your application for permanent residence on July 12, 2011. We started...
