Hello,
Just to help keep the timeline up to date, we received AIP on June 25th.
Sorry it took me so long to post -_-;
We were moved to stage 2 on the same day, as my common-law partner and I both received separate letters dated June 25th. My letter stated I was approved as a sponsor (yay!), and his said they are now processing him for PR.

Have you landed yet? I just got my landing interview letter last week scheduled for August 6, that's exactly 5 months after ecas changed to DM for both stages!

Anyone landed in Montreal knows if we can apply for SIN card number when we landed? Or we have to drop by a Canada service location to apply separately? Do they need PR card for the application? Or landing paper is good enough?

it seems to me that they are slowing down, probably due to summer holidays. I would believe that's the reason, the kids are out from school parents want to travel. Go figure! I had my AIP but nothing on second stage or landing... got the DM on June 25. Nearly a month and just changed when they added that medicals have been received. Hopefully will get the landing letter soon!! I can't wait.

Well, not only is it summer, but also alot of local visa offices have closed and they're also re-vamping a lot of the visa processing, so it will be slowing down for a bit.

Yes you will be getting you letter soon hopefully. I gor my aip in May and recieved my Dm three months later and got my letter sometime last week for my landing interview this week. So yes yours will be over soon.

We applied in july last year and we have our interview on july 26th. It does seem odd that you still have not gotten an interview date. Our local office is in Calgary by the way. I hope that helps.

Hi! I got my ECAS changed and AIP was on July 19th as well. Let's keep each other updated since we have the same timeline. I'm so happy right now even though I know it will take few more months but updates like these are a relief.

Thats an awesome news ) Congratulations to you.. Yea well AIP is a big relief hopefully making a decision wont be too long for CIC.
