I used to get assignment letter and it says my assignment date is until Dec 2019.
You will have to consult some Sr. members on the forum for assignment letter... I am an ICT (LMIA exempt), but work contract is a local one and it does not have an end date.
The reference letter from my organization does not mention a My offer will be valid for 1 yr from the date of issue of the PR.

Hi, CEC+ICT+50 points

I am completing one year in Canada in end of Oct 2018 and want to claim 50 points of offer letter. Hope to receive an ITA on 10th -15th Nov 2018 (Considering 50 points added to CRS from 419 to 469).
I fall in below criteria:

1- have valid transfer letter (secondment letter) of complete two years from Oct 2017 to Oct 2019.
2. have employment letter on company letterhead stating my position as Permanent in my companies' Canadian branch
3- have last one year salary stubs, increment letter,
4- have reference letter mentioning roles and responsibilities as per my NOC code (but NOC code is not mentioned explicitly in letter), 40 hours per week, full-time job.
5- ICT WP expiring on Aug 2019

based on above i would complete one year in Canada at end of Oct 18 and anticipating to receive ITA by 15th Nov 18.I am on ICT with permanent position but my offer letter/employment letter/ reference letter does not mention/extend for one year after PR VISA is issued and my ICT work permit is only valid for another 8 months after Non 2018.

Please advise shall i claim for additional 50 points of arranged employment.

Thanks

i think you are good with all these ..I am going to apply for PR with these additional 50 points end of October..If i were you i will take out the permanent position word from the employment letter because the work permit by itself is a temprovary work permit and i am not sure how the job offer can be permanent...In my case i dont have my salary paid in Canada it is being paid by parent company payroll back in home country but still i am going to apply for the job for the job offer ....

Your documentation looks good... NOC is not required to be mentioned on the reference letter(even I did not have one)...
Even I did not have the reference of job offer valid for 1 yr after PR is issued...

My lawyer added this...

For me it means yes, keeping your job in the future: undetermined end of job.

Hi All,

Would truly appreciate, if someone could help me clear my concerns:
I know its probably a repeated question but i wanted to make sure with my details if I can get an opinion.

I am a full time employee of Infy (8 years) and was on H1B in US for last 4 years, I came to Canada in April 2018 on ICT WP from US. My WP is valid till March 2020. My deputation letter to Canada states 16 months period from April 2018. I have current score of 433 without claiming Canada Experience or Job offer points.

I understand I cannot apply under CEC as I have not completed 1 year in Canada yet.
However, can I apply under FSW and claim 50 additional points for ICT WP(LMIA Exempt)with my current deputation letter.
if not then is it because my deputation letter is for 16 months and its already 6 months. I can probably get a new deputation letter till my work permit which is March 2020. would that be enough to claim 50 points under FSW.
I am just trying to see if I can apply for PR without having to wait for another 6 months to claim 1 yr Canada work experience if I am eligible.
Anyone from Infosys or any other similar company who is or was in a similar situation would of great help if he or she can share their experience on this.

Thanks in advance.

If you are on ICT WP, you can claim valid job offer points only after you have completed 1 yr working here in Canada and Infy Canada can provide a statement in your letter stating that “have a valid job offer from that employer for at least one year after IRCC issue your permanent resident visa”

hi

my situation is almost same except for dates, my WP is expiring May 2018 and i arrive canada on July 2017.
However i do not have the reference letter at all as my company is not giving me -
"4- have reference letter mentioning roles and responsibilities as per my NOC code (but NOC code is not mentioned explicitly in letter), 40 hours per week, full-time job."

Q) Can i still go ahead and claim those 50 points? please let me know soon.
I have created my EE profile but i have kept 'Valid Job Offer = No' as of now.

Q) And also regarding the format of reference letter, what are the important points that shud be present in it.
someone gave me below ref -

I used the OINP guide as a reference to arrange documentation for the EE: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/prodconsum/groups/csc/@oipp/documents/document/oi_en_hcps_010517.pdf. (Appendix 5)

Ref:
- 7.2 Employment Reference Letter
- 7.3 Work Contracts
- 7.4 Proof of Compensation
- 7.5 Canadian Work Experience

I provided the Offer of Employment (for 7.3) along with the Employment Reference Letter for the Canadian role.

In addition I attached similar set of documents for my previous role outside of Canada.
the link is not working, can u share the updated link pls
