Hello everyone,
I would really appreciate your insights on my situation. I have an active Express Entry profile and am eligible under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) stream.
Below is my foreign work experience (outside Canada):
Company A – Jr. Operations Executive (NOC 21222)
Feb 17, 2020 – Dec 31, 2020 (~10.5 months)
Company B – Data Scientist
Jan 4, 2021 – Mar 31, 2021 (~3 months)
Not claiming this job—no letter of roles & responsibilities.
Company C – Executive – Data Science (NOC 21211)
Apr 1, 2021 – Jan 18, 2022 (~9.5 months)
Company D – Data Scientist
Jan 24, 2022 – Feb 23, 2022 (~1 month)
Not claiming due to lack of R&R letter.
Company E – MDM Developer (NOC 21232)
Mar 2, 2022 – Sept 1, 2022 (~6 months)
My Questions:
Thanks in advance!

- Can I combine the time from Company A, C, and E to claim CRS points for foreign work experience (1 year / 2 years) under CEC, even though:
- They are in different NOC codes, and
- There are gaps of 3 months and 1 month between them?
- Is it a problem that I have not worked 12 months continuously with the same employer or same NOC?
- Even though I’ve selected only CEC as my eligible program, my profile also shows FSW “Met”—should I be concerned about that?
- If I receive an ITA under CEC, does the FSW eligibility matter at all?
Thanks in advance!
