Since I had the phone interview, I had to mail my signed COPR to get CIC's stamp on it. So my landing date is not yet confirmed until I get my COPR back. And also I am not considered PR until my COPR is stamped. I do not think INLAND Spousal sponsorship has passport request, as I didn't have to do it.

If you go in person for the interview, then no mailing is required and you get your COPR stamped right there. They also send you to another line to get your SIN number, unlike the phone interview where we have to go to Service Canada to receive one.

Hope this helps.
Tks abcdmud! Really helpful! I was confused due to some messages like this one;

hi, i'm a March 24 Applicant, I just got a passport request today.

Hi Friends,
I came to Canada on visitor visa in Dec 17 and my spouse applied for inland sponsorship and OWP in Feb 1st week.
I need your help on below points:
1. DO i need to submit PCC for India or Canada or both ? I have been less than 3 months here as of now ?
2. If India, can someone apply on my behalf in India and scan and send to me or I have to apply here only in Canada ?
3. IF someone can apply on my behalf in India, what do i need to send them for police verification ?
4. Any fingerprint requirement ?

Also please let me know if there is any whatsapp group for applicants.

Hello there,
1.You have to submit your PCC and Schedule A when CIC ask you to submit it.
2. You don’t need PCC for Canada.
3. Yes anyone from your family can apply for your PCC in india, for that you have to write Authority latter to the person who’s gonna apply for you. It will tale less than 15 days. Also scanned copy works.
4. You can apply your PCC from canada it will take more than 3 months also you have to submit your original passport along with your PCC application.
Hope all this information will help you.
Good luck!

One query - I got info that I can apply India PCC in Canada and it takes 7-10 days for that. But your info says otherwise. Can you please confirm.

Hey everybody,

Just an update on my timeline to give some sort of hope to the folks still waiting for their PR to come in.

I applied for "in-canada" permanent residency through common law with my Canadian (now) wife sponsoring me and working in Canada on a 2 year renewable open work permit while it's processing. I'm from the UK.

March 14th 2017 - received application for permanent residence, and application to sponsor.
March 29th 2017 - sent approval for sponsorship so I could get my open work permit
July 19th 2017 - They asked for medical to be completed
July 21st 2017 - submitted the medical to them (I was told to do anything they asked ASAP to not delay application further)
February 28th 2018 - updated my application to "decision made"

So I think the next step is that I'll get a letter from them in the next few days with some sort of landing paper instructions, or potentially have to attend an interview then drive to the border and turn around to be landed woo!!!

It's been an emotional rollercoaster thats for sure and almost over with! Best of luck to the rest of you folks in March - hopefully you'll receive an answer soon.
Feb 28 was my interview date too!!! I'm a resident also...congrats!!

Yep that's ECAS.

You should have gotten another AOR email yourself with your own UCI number. Write that and your own details and you should be able to check your side as well.
I've tried it many times, but my account only can check at MyCIC :(

After 4 months since I uploaded SA, PC, and CSQ, my status changed to Submitted for a few days, and then it turned again to Your action required. But today, the status has changed again to Submitted. Is there anyone know what does it mean?

Duly completed application FORM for Police Clearance Certificate should be submitted to the nearest centre of the outsourcing agency, BLS International Services Canada Inc. (www.blsindia-canada.com)
7 to 10 days if you ever get PCC before and they have registered you in online system!
Requirements:

1. Application form duly filled in.

2. One recent colour passport size photograph (35mm x 35mm)

3. Current Indian passport, in original, with valid immigration papers (with photocopies) or Canadian/foreign passport (with valid visa) in original and its photocopy.
For holders of foreign passports – please submit copy (ies) of the relevant page(s) of the passport on which travelled to India or any other document confirming the stay in India for the said period.

4. Pre-paid stamped self-addressed envelope for return of documents.

Time taken: Police Clearance Certificate shall be issued within ten working days if a clear police verification report is available in the system. Otherwise, a reference shall have to be made to the authority which issued the Indian passport and the application would be processed further only on receipt of instructions from the said authority.

Hey, I just tried to sign in through Service3 again, and yes, it works. So I'm thinking maybe they start working my application now, that's why I can sign in. Before, when I tried to sign in, the web site said that they could not find my application although I could check the status on MyCIC. By the way, the status via Service3 has not much information, just tell me when they received my application, and when they sent me AOR.

Hi Forumers,
Just a quick question. I had an update on my CIC account that they need additional documents in order to process my application and i heard it from their voice mail when i phoned CIC that they sent their request last FEB 24 and i havent got any message from them. I dont know what documents they need from me.do you guys experience this kind of situation? my timeline is almost one year this coming Mar 21.
thank you
Hi...Would advise you send a mail to cic informing you didn't receive any correspondence. My experience was background check never changed since I uploaded my Schedule A and PCC. I contacted call center couple of times, was told they have all documents needed from me. I still wasn't satisfied going by what I have experienced during the glitch era and time lines here...was forced to request for my notes, shocked when I saw correspondences on my notes since last year which I never received on cic and ecas. I called call center the next day, agent told me my file is still in process, informed the lady I have my notes in front of me and that there were requests since last year which I never received quoting the dates for her. That was when she had to prob further confirming the dates with me after placing me on hold. I contacted cic immediately and have just received a new request. Advice to everyone waiting is to pay attention to the voice responses when calling the agents...

Hey guys, I just got an update on my application. They requested to submit a CSQ.

Does somebody know what comes after that? Does that mean something good? Thank you!

Ps: I'm inland applicant from March 2017. It will be a year on March 27th. That's why I'm wondering if I'm close to the end of it!
Hi, I got a CSQ request in mid-December and DM in end of Feb.
