[QUOTE="syed32, post: 7117516, member: There are lazy officers, vacations... people got the P.R on fake documents.
I won't argue, and more points are what I would like to gather for the good of everyone, and you are right.

Now for the fake documents, I don't know how they can make it. Either they are perfect or the fake experience or something else was not needed. Here is one example of the extent of the investigation:
GCMS_调查记录样本.jpg

Plus the link about the CSIS mentioned that they even go to villages.

I have never seen anyone who ever admitted to fake anything after getting the PR, but I have seen contradictions for people who needed some more CRS points and I have seen people that I think "wtf, how did this person got the PR?" which I saw many times, usually with people too young with less work experience and less degrees and not very good English, or people with horrible English and that were not refugees.

The difference between inland and Outland is also stupid.

I just don't think the time is random. Some background takes time because of the specialists/country and countries lived, but it is usually within that 4-8 timeframe.[/QUOTE]

Thee above note on gcms is craated while making eligibility accessment not security. Csis only do security accessment not eligibility. Their job is to find if applocant have anything related with terrorism or other security related activities or not.

No offence. Going forward on your posts there are some discrepancy

So Pola, as Aj003 mentioned, you didn't say your fiancee was coming.

And you said you are a PR.

So I take he is the one being processed. But nothing makes sense anymore.

Is he an Asylum seeker without his passport living is US right now, or is he in Canada? How long have you been apart? Or were before the marriage? Is he the one applying? Or are you sponsoring him?

Oh, and you said there was no ADR, but in the post above, you said they asked for everything again.

I assume it is not him applying with 7 years and lots of work experience in Canada, because it is a different process for asylum seekers, or it wouldn't be possible without passport. So I believe you are sponsoring him.

Are you talking about him when you mentioned the 20 k funds? Or are you talking about your funds to sponsor him?

Regardless of what it is, this would be a completely different case for most of us.

I already massage to @Aj003 that that thread was about one of my friend. She need to ask something about this process. She wasn’t on canada visa forum. I asked everything on her behalf. I didn’t want to make everything clear just wanted to know something about asylum seeker sponsorship from usa to canada. That was nothing about me. Idk why you guys checking old posts and all that. If im PR already then I don’t even need to come on this site or talk about anything like that. I didn’t even remember that post that i ever asked anything like that.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. I looked up because Aj003 mentioned something important and I'm trying to figure what is causing delays for everyone.

Disregarding everything from the account's past posts, based on the profile you mentioned here first, there is nothing I could identify that could delay your application and the PR could come from today to up to 3 months or so.

If there is a delay, it could be on their side, or something we didn't think about.

yeah my that post wasn’t related to me. Why 3 months? Still need to wait 3 months? Even a thought of 3 months giving me mini heart attacks

Because the medicals was asked to you ~3- 4 months later, usually it takes around 9 (average, some people got in 3), yours took 13 if I'm not mistaken, So total for jan 2017 = 19, so yours is 19 + 3 = 22.

However, I saw a guy who waited 18 months for the medical, and got the PR 1 month later, so the background didn't start after medicals for him.

So... It could also be 1 day. We can't know for sure.

People from January-Ferbruary 2017 are getting it now, cheer up.

As I said, I couldn't identify anything... Let's just wait for the best... Patiently. Which is hard, I know.

I Completely agree on what are you saying and as i said before ,u are right on most of the things but not everything.

As u agreed that the above investigation was in the eligibility phase not security check. Most of the candidates are waiting cuz of back ground check.

I know people who submitted fake experience letter and gave money even to employers so they can say yes in reply to the email or phone but again there are so many candidates who only submitted Canadian experience including me ,which is very easy to verify through employer or CRA etc. still there file has been delayed by big time.

I assured you that my case is very simple and straight forward and had my medical in Dec 2017, after that back ground check is in process, my friends who share my nationality, city ,degree got their P.Rs in March and April.

well even a Vancouver based lawyer (25 years of experience) said that, IRCC needs a lot of improvement including more staff and strict staff policies as he handled few of the cases where visa officer ignored the applicant file for no reason at all or in some cases forgot to work on one particular file as they got busy with others.

I believe the way CIC works is stupid. Applying for Post Grad Work Permit (even Co-op work permit) online inside Canada takes such 3 months. It's not fair while Express Entry for people applying from outside Canada takes only 6 months. CIC put all their staff into Express Entry, so no wonder why PNP paper based takes 19 months, and increasing.

It means that on that day they will look at your file again and if nothing new has happened (the security check is still in progress) will assign a new due date.

Exactly, i know quite a few people who got their passport requests in just 2 months, infact one guy in 1.5 months.
Like really, are you joking, u completed a P.R application in 1.5 months? what about security, eligibility, criminality?

and why some candidates files can take more than 30 months? Common sense say that provincial nominee files should take less time. BTW I am applying via Express entry as well, who knows i will get my p.r in couple of months cuz i dont have any expectation from Provincial nominee file.

Express Entry applicants take priority over others because that's the whole point of the Express system - fast immigration.

At expense of the people who applied when EE wasn't a thing, lol.
