Had resubmitted new pics from USA on 29th April ( received date) for my Son's card, today I got email from CIC to resubmit the pics again. Had resubmitted in feb also. Second time ,it was from the registered USPS post. Possibly, will have to get the pics in Canada only.

Currently, it's been 70 days now. Normal processing time is 59 days. Yours is 10 weeks now.

I would suggest you use a Case Specific Enquiry Form

i called CIC again and they tell me the same thing that there is no update and it doesnt even show whether they received my new photos back in April 25th, 2016. Even though I sent it by registered mail and it was received there and i have the record. Then she told me that the PR center does not put any updates on the file and they might have received the photos but probably didnt update it. I am wondering inf anyone else had the same discussion and then received the PR Card very shortly? Secondly, i have also seen people on this forum who have been saying that when they call the CIC agent, they tell them whether their card is in production or it has been dispatched. Do CIC agents have the access to that information or not?
I am really worried now since I know Canada Post might go on Strike starting next week.

hi guys,

I am trying to fill out the case specific inquiry form and I need some help. There are two fields in the form. One of them is applicant information and the other is the enquirer identification information. What is the difference? My wife wants to fill this out to inquire about her PR card and what details goes under the applicant and the enquirer fields. Please help. thanks.
Here is the link to the form: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

One of the blog i saw we need to fill below forms at immigration..

5. PR Card Application (IMM 5444E). -carry it filled pre-printed, for ease
6. Goods to Follow List (Form B4 / B4A). -carry it filled pre-printed, for ease
7. Goods Accompanying List. -as above, a table of things u r carrying on person (value & Totaled)

Where do we get those forms? do we need to carry along with us or in immigration office will get those?

Please let me know i am bit scared of visiting as i dont have any friends and i dont want to miss any documents, i feel 1 bag will get occupied by my documents.

For landing you only need (1) the forms listing your items (to-follow and accompanying) (2) the COPRs (3) proof of funds (4) your passport. Here's a link to the personal effects forms :
http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/bsf186-eng.pdf (B4)
http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/bsf186a.pdf (B4A)

You will need 2 copies of each form. See this thread for guidance on the 2 forms: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/form-b4-goods-to-followaccompanying-list-how-to-t44793.0.html

Landed on June 6th 2016.
Still nothing shows up on ecas, guess this is normal?

Congrats to everybody who received their PR! Hope y'all don't lose it.
I can't believe they don't ship it with tracking and signature required. :'(

FYI, my status on ecas was changed to "complete" after landing. I saw some posts here mentioning no change of ecas. It seems ecas is updated randomly.
