Has anyone received their RTD recently? Asking those who applied after pandemic restrictions happened.
In my case they still didn't send me any update. I will call them tomorrow for more info. It's already been 3 months :/

Hi,can you tell once we are applying what should we mention in section 3 Notice of decision .imigration status document number and what will be an issue and expirte date.
Hello. I sent the passport documents to Gatineau via xpresspost, but they were delivered to Ottawa, is that normal?
Yes but what address you used for sending as there is a separate address for urgent passport
I got my RTD with an urgent reason. They don't ask for any proof of urgent travel. Just mail your application to this address:
Certificate of Identity
OSC PPT-COI
PO BOX 8783 STN T CSC
Ottawa, Canada, K1G 5G8
Then go to this link:
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
And tell them that you have already mailed your application (mention the tracking number) and explain why you need to travel urgently. Also mention the country of your destination and exact dates of travel. Submit the request and wait for their email.

I am inland applicant, I just got my COPR and needs to renew RTD. On the application form, section 3 request for proof of status,and 4 options are there namely; PR card,Notice of IRB decision and the rest. My question,my COPR is valid for a year pending when PR card will be mailed to me. Obviously I can't fill COPR # because it has a year validity, will my passport be issued 5yr or 1 yr validity? I don't know if the officer will take it as PR & extend it for 5yrs as supposed to be.
What's the best bet for me?
