just have a quick question, my partner was rejected on his selection interview, mainly due to the lack of knowledge of French, he is planning to apply again, and As you know new applicants must submit French test results with their application.

can he submit his application now without French test results and submit his French result later, for example 4 months later?

Any new application must contain french test result, if marks for french language is claimed. Forget about it's relation with old application, as it becomes invalid. Take time. sit for at least DELF A2 and then apply again.

Sometimes i feel fed up with waiting too (I have my CSQ since 22/11/2011) but I couldn't do anything but waiting.

Is there any person from VIO of Rome that fullfilled his/her immigration procedure?
Cause im so confused about the processing times, i read 22 months after the CSQ but in some threads i read that the times are much shorter...i couldnt wait for 22 months waiting...its too much... :'(

Geribubaboy is from rome vo and as far as I remember it took someone else from Rome VO 14 months to get medicals. Yes the delays are ridiculously lomg. Moreover, 22 months is only the delay at the visa office, once they receive our file. This does not include the waiting for the CIO in sydney to review our file and transfer our file to the visa office. And this is alsp a few months. :-\
The federal timeline is quite unpredictable because they have to connect witn intelligence agencies abroad and it takes forever for those agencies to reply. :'(
