Hi Guys! Does anybody have any clue about how much of time they will give us to update our French scores..in case of falling short

still not mentioned, but it should be long time, as you will need to study, register an exam, and wait so long time to get the results ..

for me i waited the certificate 120 days to come from France ..

Can Electrical Engineers ( Section E ) apply ? i could understand that the new program allows Zero AOT applicants to apply, and nothing is Cut Off

nothing is mandatory and yes you can always update after AOR.

I think my post got lost because of the concerns over the application of new rules. But as i am preparing my app, please reply if possible

There is some confusion as to getting points if ones degree is in Computer Engineering and work experience is in Software Engineering. Now i have asked for opinions on this forum before regarding the impact of this difference (as reflected in NOC numbers) and i got a very mixed response.

To simplify, as long as your degree is specifically titled Computer Engineering, then under new rules (leaving out all the discussion about when you applied and if the new rules apply to you)...you should not worry since Software Engineering can be considered a subsection of computer engineering despite the difference in NOC numbers and job descriptions. I was given this assurance from an outside source.

I am not sure what the impact is if your degree is specifically titled "Computer Engineering and Science". This is a term most often utilized for degrees especially from India.
If your degree was from the US, then my bet would be it would not be that big of a deal. If your degree was from another country, then i am not sure what the impact.

yes any1 graduate from quebec even BS is a proirity

Dear signalmaker, if u are doing online work for USA but you are residing in Canada then u have to pay tax to Canadian govt. Bcoz it's ur income from other source .... Whatever is our income we should have to pay tax according to the current country's law !! Yes if u can hide that income than no need to pay tax !! It's up to u dear !!

You pay taxes where your company is but since in the US they have a waiver for this they call this W8 BEN once you sign this you do not need to pay taxes to US, however if you register your online work in your government as a business catering to services provided online then you pay your taxes to your government because you registered it.

But it is not mandatory for you to register it since you only work home based, although it is your prerogative.
