Hola!

My Spanish is quite lousy... but did you say that the Mexican police certificate lasts only 30 days? Are you sure?
Also, do you know when fingerprints expire? I think ours were about 4 months old when we sent them in, and we haven't heard any response since (Mexico received fingerprints on Aug 20)

Hi All,

Just one quick question, I just received an ITA:
1) As I lived in Mexico so I see in the document list to get Mexican PCC
2) But I have not received a mail from Canada Gov for the same
3) So what to upload in that section? and if I should send my details to the canadian embassy in MX right away? as I have 60 days only
4) If should send, then what to write in below, I just know my express entry profile num, so what to write for nam of visa office? and if file num is same as express entry profile
  1. Quote your file number, name of visa office, Canadian embassy or consulate or Case Processing Centre where your file is being processed, your full name and date of birth.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Do I need to provide a police certificate with my application? No. We’ll send you a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your application for permanent residence or citizenship. You must bring that letter when you apply for a police certificate.

Thanks a lot DelPiero07 for the response, one followup, I see a section for Mexico PCC so I should just upload a pdf with "need letter to obtain PCC" and wait for the letter to come and then proceed.
I have collected all documents so was wondering should I send in advance and save time but without the details of visa office working on my case Mex Authority might not entertain.
If you help with some pointers then it would be great, thank you!

Yes, you need only submit a pdf stating that you need a letter from IRCC in order to obtain the PCC.

I believe others managed to get their PCC without this letter but I cannot make any guarantees.

Hi, I just want to share my timeline of the PCC. Notice that I sent the required documents 8 days before I submitted the PR application and I think nothing bad happened. I sent the documents by UPS service.

Documents were sent to the Embassy - March 20, 2018
Embassy got the documents- March 21st, 2018
AOR: March 28th, 2018
IRCC Requested PCC: April 6, 2018
Embassy sent documents to PGR: April 6, 2018
1st Enquiry: May 28th, 2018
PCC sent to IRCC: June 1st, 2018
IRCC received PCC: June 12, 2018

It took around 2 months 6 days to get the PCC
:) Good luck everyone
Hi,

Thanks for sharing the details.
Is it possible to send me the sample of PCC request by IRCC. I am planning to send documents to Mexico embassy without waiting for that letter. I am not sure what kind of details are mentioned in that.

Thanks in Advance !!.

Thank so much DelPiero07 I really appreciate your answer

If you do not mind I have one more question, when I receive the translation from my police certificate with the translator signature
Will I send to CIC the original translation with signature from the translator or can I send a scanner of this
Translation?

Hi ,

I got ITA for Canada PR, and it seems Mexico Police certificate takes more than 60 days. Can anyone tell me whether if we don't get the police certificate with in 60 days , will they give time or simply they will reject the application ? Can any one please help to understand this.
