I am reaching out on behalf of someone. I recently received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency, and my work permit is set to expire at the end of February 2026.
I am wondering if I can remain in Canada while waiting for an update on my PR status after my work permit expires in February 2026. What would be the best option for me at this point?
Additionally, I understand that obtaining a Police Certificate from India can take some time. Is it possible to obtain this certificate while I am in Canada? If so, how long does it usually take?
What would be the best way for me to submit my documents as quickly as possible without unnecessary delays?
