Got update notification at the BG in progress, and at not need. No ghost emails whatsoever, and never had access to ECAS.

submitted my application on 15th December.......my background check went from in progress to not need needed this time last Monday....today again it went to in progress....
am so worried does that mean anything

I heard when it goes from not needed to in progress its a sign of PPR. did you apply from inside or outside of Canada? @hedonist10

This is normal. That page doesn't work as we want it to. BG has changed for many people and it is pretty normal.

No news is a good news.

applied from US....but I have studied in Toronto for a couple of years....and I have not paid the Fees for ppr in advance....
so PPR is not that close.....do they work on Sunday cuz my status changed today...
have you heard about cases where it is sign of ppr...thanks for your reply.
