My background check wentt from in progress to not needed at this time

Hi everybody,

My case is a little bit different. My BG went from not strated to not needed at this time

What does this mean?

has anyone experienced this before?

I'm an FSW Outland
AOR :20 th of november

Hi, My BG went from Not Started to Not Needed too. Which country are you applying from? Im applying from US. So, my application will be processed in Ottawa. So my timeline will be more similar to Inland applications than outland applications.

Nothing to worry. There are other outlanders also whose BG changed directly from Not Started to Not Needed. I just thought that you might be from US and see whether there is any pattern. Looks like there is none. Best of luck.

my BG was also switched to "not needed" as you can see in my signature.

However my case was not transfered to LVO. Yesterday I called to CIC and they confirmed it is in Ottawa.

With a AOR in December- how did you convinced the call centre agent to give you info on your file? I called this afternoon and they wouldn't provide any details. They said I have to wait 6 months.

My BG is still not started .
I was told in forum that it takes 135 days to get BG inprocess for USA applicants.

am also applying from USA....got AOR in 15th December....my file went to BG in process in 1st week of January and got request for schedule 4 and schedule A

they answered only one question in which office my application is at the moment. I hoped it was transfered to LVO. Before answering I was asked security questions (my birth date, adress, UCI, country of residence etc).

When I started asking further information the operator told me to check my status online.

I checked with the CIC and my application now in "Centralized Intake Office - Sydney (CIO-S), Nova Scotia"

I am inland applicant, why my application is not in Ottawa?
