My background check wentt from in progress to not needed at this time

Just checked myCIC, my BG returned to "in progress". Please update the sheet

hi friends
my BG changed its status from in progress to not needed on 26 jan and then it changed back to in progress next day on 27 jan . but i have not received PPR email yet.
according to last posts after returning back to in progress they should finalizing the decision but it didnt happen for me
any idea?
admin plz add me in spreadsheet.

I received an update email on Jan 28,2016. Initially i thought its was just a ghost email.
Later only i found that my BG Check status has changed

I believe for all those whose status is changing to Not needed at this time is after the additional doc is requested and probably submitted as well.

I didn't come across any whose status changed to Not needed at this time and then additional doc was requested.

I believe if the above theory is right then the last step is changing back to in process and then PPR.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I did not get any document request. And majority of people in this thread did not have any document request. In fact, we initially thought that document request is delayed for us. But from GCMS notes of some of us, it looks like it is not related to document request.

If you didn't get any doc request and even I didn't get any doc request but my status changed but my point is status change is the last step if I am not wrong.

Either we are getting PPR once status changes back to in Process or rejection (hope none of us face that)

Sorry no perfect examples to set that but the trend suggests more to that

My Bad. I got what you were saying now. I think so too, that BG will go to In Progress at RFV, like how it happens to other Outlanders.

Yes, I got the request for spouse renew passport. Requested was reach me after 2mon of status change. However, no change to the status even after doc submission.

That's not a positive sign that you got a doc request after two months of status change. So what I was expecting not to have additional doc request after status change was wrong.

I am also CEC inland applicant with no PNP/ LMIA points. Wait & watch game!
