I still have 18 months left on my PGWP and my feet have started getting cold. How it would be treating the guys who are left with a month or two on their wps and tied their hopes with EE which would lead them to BOWP. It is very unfortunate
Sorry to say but we might need to start looking for cook or chef jobs which in most cases are LMIA based.
noway, I'd rather come back home and get a job related to my profession, come what may.

Yea that's really going to screws all existing PGWP people. Getting LMIA particularly difficult because 1) New grads hardly make more than Minimum for a Skilled NOC, let alone Median/Prevalent wage, 2) Convincing employer to apply for LMIA is not gonna be easy (especially for those in large corporations)

Unless you are in BC or SK (maybe there's more?), where the PNP program has EE stream to get that 600 points, new grads can either go through traditional PNP (Slow) or get a new job that can provide LMIA.

Any more suggestions?
Why are large corporations are difficult?

I'm in BC, where can I find information on "the PNP program has EE stream"? (yeah, I'll google it but I'm just asking in case).

My few friends are working with Bell Canada. Thousands of employees, thousands of people in line to apply for new positions. So many managers in different branches. They can not apply for LMIA. But in one owner businesses it could be done. Just my opinion. Cool

Because they think immigration is a hectic process.
I work for a big telecom company here and I tried to convince them to help me getting PNP earlier last year and they did not agree.
Dont be offended but if you want to stay in Canada (including myself) then start looking for a chef or cook job. I am a very good cook and
I guess you should be the one as spending this much time in Canada has atleast taught us how to cook

You don't know lmgtfy? :p ;D

If one was too lazy to Google and do some readings, s/he doesn't deserve to immigrate. I might be blunt but that's my personal opinion

In spreadsheet there are only 6 persons who have 500+ scores, but 779 people have been selected in the first draw having 886+ scores.
What do you think about the real number of applicants?

The annoying thing about this is that if the people on 886 weren't lucky enough to get an LMIA or PNP they'd be sat here on 286 points...

I wonder if they'll ever drop down into the 400's, especially considering the chances were supposed to be higher for non LMIA/PNP in the first few draws.
I was thinking exactly this point, so can people with points 300+ may be a hope?
