Hi All,

I applied for the grant of citizenship in October 2025. January 2026, I was contacted by IRCC that my application was incomplete. They said I did not pay. I reapplied again that same day, paid and submitted and I got a confirmation. This is June 2026, I have not gotten any response from them. I called the Customer service severally, but they told me they cannot find my application in their system. I sent webforms twice but they responded they are processing applications. I am so worried and confused, please is there anything I can do at this juncture? This is the response I get from them, which looks generic. Thanks

I don't know what's going on, but if they cannot find it, it does not seem to be in their system, and I don't see why you would not just reapply again.

Note the previous receipt etc should still function.

do you have any application number?
if there is an application number starting with C, then it means your application is currently in their system.
If there is no application number, you could ask the file status by using your UCI
