good day...late lola nyo may mga visitors mga excited sa PPR eh kala mo aalis na ko bukas.....anyway, beofre ako magtatawa sa mga names na biga ni char...this thread caught my attention.my sister when she left for vancouver was pregnant.....she was actually 5 months preggy on her way to 6th month i guess....actually kaya sila nagtagal kasi yung medical nya may UTI sya naka 2 times ata nag paclear....naakalis naman sila in August 2008...then nung november nag premature labor and eventually CS was requested kasi fully dilated na sya.sabi nya wala naman daw silang binayaran..actually she was amused kasi the hospital and the community nurse was so helpful and oftentimes she got a chance to be visited by the nurse at home....ang isa pa nga daw question sa kanya....is your husband helping you with the baby....if not we will inform the police...o bongga di ba?????tapos may additional allowance for the new baby....btw, prior umalis pala sya kelangan ng clearance ng OB......yun lang kwento...

ay katakot naman pala maging isang mister sa Canada ;D

sa sobrang positive thinking ko, march pa lang ata right after I got the medical order nakabook na ako for june 24 kaya nakita ko na bumaba ang air fare... Cathay is so fully book and yon nga, mahal pa din lalabas kahit may dicount sila sa first time immigrants dahil wala silang child fare.

if you are landing in vancouver, taking PAL is a good choice kung meron nga silang direct flight pero bring food with you kasi talagang matatawa ka sa konti ng food nila. Ang alam ko kasi, you still have to stop in vegas if you are going to vancouver... check it out mabuti. If I may suggest, you know naman i have 4 kids, ok talaga ang direct flight but we noticed also, kapag sobrang tagal ng bata sa loob ng airplane, talagang nabobore sila... 1 stop over would be great... lalo na isa lang naman ang bitbit mong bagets... magaganda naman ang mga airport nila di katulad ng sa atin... madami makikita sa airport kaya nakakaaliw... also, my friend just moved in vancouver din last jan, business class na sila sa PAL and still, she was so disappointed with the aircraft... talagang maliliit ang upuan nila...

China airlines and Korean is good din daw but medyo mahal the price... For now, Eva kami kasi malaki ang leg room and hi tech mga airplanes nila... remember you will be sitting down for a long while kaya dapat comfy...

from what i know, its and international law na if ever there is a medical emergency that needs to be performed tapos you are in another country, no country/ hospital could refuse to attend to your medical needs... kaya nga ang daming pumupunta ng ibang bansa bago manganak para citizen ang mga baby's as well as libre kasi this law covers it... kahit wala pa kayong health benefits pero nakita na delikado na kay misis magbiyahe, they will have to administer care to you... kasi nga isa sa trust ng United Nations is to preserve the life of a human kaya this covers it...

sa lahat, always remember if you feel sick during a travel and needed to go to a doctor, sa ER kayo dapat pumasok para covered kayo nito...hehehehehehe

tanong ko lang po para sa may mga ppr na, pano po malalaman kung na encash na ang rprf bukod sa pagatatanong sa bangko? may pinapadala po bang email na confirmation and receipt ang visa office? waiting for ppr na rin po kami kase ng family ko, medyo nakakainip po talaga thanks

Tabs, thank you for the info.. yup im aware na they cannot refuse if its an emergency, i'm a nurse by profession, pero hindi kasi nakalagay dun na hindi ka nila pwede singilin after manganak ng asawako... hindi ko alam kung may charity ward or something sa canada na minimal lang ang babayaran, from wat i heard, CAN$7,000 ung normal delivery, eh CS pa asawa ko, hiniram ko lang yung proof of funds ko, mahirap naman magsimula sa utang... anyway, i'll ask around din kung papano, gusto ko sana dun na manganak asawa ko, baka kasi matagalan yung pag aayos ng papers ng new baby ko... thanks!
