@ nars... san province sa canada punta mo? nurse din ako eh, ontario punta ko, kaya lang nung nagrequest ako ng application sa board of nursing nila parang saksakan ng hirap makakuha ng eligibility eh.. tagal ng PPR namin... tsaka sabay tayo nag apply, september2009 din ako...

ontario din bagsak ko kasi andoon kalahati ng myembro ng pamilya namin...nag e-mail din ako sa CNO at mukhang mahirap nga...best way daw is mag LPN ka muna then do a bridging program...ewan ko lang kung magkano at gaano katagal ang bridging program

I have received our medical request dated dec.16, last January26, 2010. We went to have our medicals on Feb 2. By march, another request for further medical arrived, asking for lordotic xray. After completing the xray. Another letter arrived in april asking for another xray or ct scan. After completing both, I emailed canadian embassy to ask when I can have my PPR. I got a reply that I still need further medical tests. They told me they sent the request late april but until now, I didnt receive any snail mail yet. My DMP said I am ok so why all these repeated medical? Wala na bang katapusan ang pabalik balik ko ng punta ng hospital? Sana naman they let me perform all the required tests that they need dahil i have to travel by plane for my medical lang. Magastos talaga. The waiting time is also an agony. Kelangan kong sumulat dito at ibuhos ang sama ng loob ko.

sunshine888, sige ilabas mo lang yan..,masama kimkimin yan ibang hangin ang lalabas, try mo kaya for the additional medical tests sa ibang DMP? pwede ba yun guys...seniors? mga lola?

hi! ako NBA yung VO ko....last april 26 pa nasubmit ng st. luke's yung medicalsnamin pero until now wala pang PPR.... how long will it usually take? anyone? thanks.... andanother question, my wife is 5 mos. pregnant now, iniisip na namin kung san sya manganganak sa august if ok na kami umalis before august... kaso mahal yata manganak sa ontario dahil wala pa kami health benfits nun...anyone can share an idea? thanks thanks!!!!

kalungkot naman. why did they asked for a lordotic xray? are u having lordosis or is something wrong wid your spine that would cause them to ask additional tests?

were you referred to a specialist?

My husband too was required to do additional tests and was referred to a cardio for a clearance. he underwent 2d echo and found out hes fine and was issued a clearance

I understand the agony.having to schedule additional tests very stressfull

First chest PA yung standard dba? tapos pina repeat ako ng lateral view. Send na lahat sa embassy. Nakatanggap ulit ako ng sulat asking for lordotic view of the lungs so nag pa xray na naman ako, normal yung result.Sent ulit sa embassy. Another letter came asking for chest xray pa rin , this time yung focus is right midlung and if possible ct scan. Nag pa xray and ct scan na ako to be sure na ma complete na medical ko. Sa xray normal pa rin. However sa ct scan, meron daw akong calcified granuloma. I asked my dmp who is also a pulmonologist about it. He said it is just a tissue injury na nagkaroon ng calcium deposits. I asked if I needed treatment for that. The dr. said I dont need any treatment as I dont have an illness. Kaya nag follow up na ako sa embassy for my PPR, the reply was I needed additional test daw. Ano na naman kaya? :'( :'( :'( Pag ganito, kahit wala akong sakit, magkakaroon na ako sa kaiisip. :-[ Heaven forbids, huwag naman sana Lord. ;D

ang sabi sakin...after makuha ng VO ang mga results ng medical eh mga four months pa antayin para magkaroon ng visa...so it's not bad to say that you'll get your PPR after two to three months

Regarding your wife's pregnancy. I suggest that you let your wife give birth muna here in the Philippines kasi it will take three more months after you landed before you can avail for public health funding sa Canada plus your visas are valid for one year. When your wife have recuperated from giving birth pwede na kayo umalis or mauna ka na at susunod na lang sila.

Tanong ko lang kasama na ba yung baby mo sa application mo at sa required funds for emigrating?

"In my opinion" ko lang to. Maybe some seniors can give you a better advise.

kikikit yung sa PPR request 1 month to 2 months, ;D sina char_bonel, tabs, hailo halos ganun ang wait time

sa pregnancy naman wala po ako ganu maicomment, hehehe hindi ko kasi alam kung macocover siya ng private health insurance pag punta nyo sa Canada, ang recommendation kasi ng CIC kumuha muna ng private health insurance after landing sa Canada kasi yung provincial health insurance especially sa province ng BC takes 3 months processing.
