Hi everyone. I was previously working in Canada on a PGWP but as it was about to expire I decided to go back to school and get my Master's by applying for a study permit. I was successful and after I received it I put my notice with my employer and updated my EE profile to show I was no longer working.

Before this I was eligible for both the CEC and FSW streams, but now that I'm no longer employed I'm now only eligible for the CEC. I had worked more than 12 months full-time with the same employer, so my experience was definitely eligible for FSW. The only changes I made to my profile were my employment and education histories to show my new status as a student in Canada, and my profile has been this way for weeks now, so it isn't a technical error either. What might I be missing that would cause me to be ineligible?

I am considering pursuing a PhD after my current program, which means I would still be in school by the time my Canadian experience is 3+ years old and no longer eligible for CEC. My CRS is also too low (low 500s) to clear any ITA rounds and I'm not confident I can learn French to NCLC 7 or better within the next 3 years. Unless I can still be eligible for FSW I'd need to put off on a PhD and work a job after finishing my Master's until I can receive an ITA.
