Hello. We will be moving to Canada mid October and been looking for place to stay + school in the web and asked our niece in Manitoba to check them out. As she does not have children yet so would like to ask opinions of forumers. Usually bus is provided kung medyo malayo ang place nyo sa school (1.6km dun sa isang school website). Isa sa options namin, 600 meters away from the house so di covered ng school bus. Kung sa Pinas, "walkable" distance. Kaso, pag winter, kaya pa ba or sobrang challenge yun at di advisable?
I have 2 girls - 11 years old at 5.5. Thanks in advance for your inputs/advice.

600 meters is walkable. as what ainex mentioned, you need to buy the proper gear/attire(anti freeze boots - thermal clothing, etc.). kasi kahait may snowstorm it is a regular day for them. it is also a matter of getting used to the weather and temperature.

Hello. I got my bank draft through BPI. I went there to ask if naencash na, they said that they can't give me info right away since they have to email Scotiabank and it will take 3 months for them to reply. Is there another way for me to know kung naencash na ba ung bank draft?

Hello po, mga Kabayan!

Is there anyone here who applied in 2017 for FSW Outland still awaiting PPR? I just wanted to compare timelines (details of mine are below in my signature) with a fellow Pinoy. The other threads I follow seem to have waves of PPRs with some trends showing clumping nationalities/local visa offices together when the PPRs are issued. I'm getting jittery.
