Hi,

In regards to the language proof requirement section, does 'abroad' refer to any country other than Canada ?

My wife attended a few post-secondary education programs in English in India earlier and has the respective degree and diploma certificates. In addition to this, she also has a few certificates for the courses she attended in Canada. Can we just submit all of them as a proof in English language ?

It seems like Brampton applicantions are being processed at Scarborough or Mississauga office.
Scarborough office is quick with sending test invites, however Mississauga seems to be more efficient at scheduling Oath ceremonies.
I would be curious to know if someone received Test invite from one centre and Oath from another one...

Very unlikely if you are assuming that test would be in Scarborough and Oath in Mississauga. One of applicant from Saskatchewan had test in Saskatoon and is having oath in Prince Albert.

Hello Everyone,

So I have about 10 road trip to USA for the same day return. Live close to border.

I have mentioned all that in physical presence calculator. But for the road trip while returning to Canada they don’t stamp the passport. Also while entering USA they only stamp passport while issuing I-94 and then you enter as many time during its validity but they don’t stamp.

So my question is during the interview how would officer cross check the details of entry and exit. I mean would they already have I-94 and CBSA report? Or it would delay the application?

I think so. I submitted my India bachelor degree certificate along with the transfer certificate that said mode of instruction is English and had no problem.

Generally by Email if you have provided it with your application. But some one in another forum have reported receiving it by physical mail also.

Mississauga Applicants who got Test invites .. does it show oh the ecas or does it arrive by mail only and doesnt show on ecas can anyone tell me please thanks

Hello all, has anyone ever sent a traceable letter to a government office via Canada Post and when you tracked the letter the description showed the below?

"Delivered to your community mailbox, parcel locker or apt./condo mailbox"

I find it rather odd as the above description, to me, seems like it refers to a residential address delivery rather than a delivery to a government office/government building.

I would be keen to know if anyone ever had an experience like the above.

I know it's vague and nobody really knows but Vancouver office doesn't seem to be so slow, my application is one of the only one taking so long :/:/

My experience (St. Clair/Scarborough office) was that it didn't have any noticeable delay to my application. A positive hit on your FP from the RCMP could delay, I would imagine, but if it was clear perhaps you're just plagued by an extended BG check wait.

Why some people are asked for FP and others are not? What would be a common issue among those who are asked to submit FP?
