submit as soon as possible:
 Passport/Travel Document: Your relative must submit a copy of their passport. If your
relative's passport has expired or will expire within the next 12 months, please have them apply
for and submit a copy of their new passport with a validity of 12 months or more. Please ensure
to include all pages of the passport.
 Biometrics (if applicable): On July 31st, 2018, biometrics became a requirement for some
IRCC applicants. If your relatives are required to complete biometrics, they would have received
a request for fees and an instruction letter with details on how to submit biometrics. If they have
yet to submit biometrics, they should do so immediately.
Biometrics requirements can be found on our website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp
 Police Certificate: For the principal applicant and dependant spouse (if applicable), please
provide police certificates from:
 The country where they currently live; and
 Any country they have lived for six months or more (if applicable).
Your relative is required to obtain the police certificate from that country's law enforcement
authorities. Please send a copy of the original police certificate to this office as soon as they
receive it.
Instructions to obtain Police Certificates can be found on our website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp.
 Country Specific Requirements: Please refer to the country specific requirements listed for
spouses, as these documents are applicable to parents and grandparents.
Country specific requirements can be found on our website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp
 Supplementary Information - Your Travels (IMM 5562): The principal applicant and all family
members included in the application who are 18 years of age or older must complete this form.
 Details of Military Service - IMM 5546 (if applicable): Complete this form for anyone included
on the application who has ever held a high ranking/senior official government position or
served in the military, army, defence or police unit, (including National Service), and submit a
copy of the military card/booklet, including blank pages, if applicable.
 CV/Resume: Please provide a CV/Resume for the principal applicant and dependent spouse (if
applicable) detailing education and employment information from the age of 18.

Hello, CIC requested CV/resume for my parents. My mom doesn't have any work history and she only attained a high school education. I am not sure what details should I add to her resume. Is there any specific resume format that we should use? Please let me know. Thank you!
There is no format. Keep it within one page, highlight their name, address, education, hobbies, social activities etc

Hi! Can someone guide me please what next to do after receiving an email saying "Your application has been accepted under the intake cap for 2019."
How to create ecas account and view status of application?
Do I have to sign the IMM5476 application? If I do how do I submit it?

Kindly advise me on the next steps and what should I do?:):):)
ecas is checking status online, you don't need to create an account for this. Try this link: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do

You can create an account in MYCIC, you should create an account under the PA's name: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html

Rep form is optional, but highly recommended.

Now you have to wait till they start processing the file and in due course you will get request for bio, medical etc.

Hello Everyone,

Quick question. My mom is in Super visa in Canada for last 3 years, does she need to do medical and biometrics?

I sponsored (co-signed) parents from India.
In process date for sponsor and PA is December 3, 2019.
I have question as my father-in-law was principal applicant. He passed away yesterday. What will happen to mother-in-law case?

We received a letter saying that my parents’ files were transferred to the visa office in Manila. This is after everything ( application, medical, police clearance, additional forms, cv) were processed by CPC-Mississauga.

My parents are still here in Canada via SuperVisa. Anyone else whose parents are here in Canada had their files transferred to another visa office? Should I be worried?

Sorry to hear that.

Are you a rep? If not, it would be very tricky to update the file. If you are not a rep, send the webform info under your Mother-in-laws details. Mention that you want to continue to process the file and will provide a death certificate as soon as possible.

Once you have the death certificate, send it via webform.

If you are not a rep, I would recommend to provide the rep form as well as soon as possible.

Yes. There is another person whose file went to India recently. I believe we will see more and more of this going forward as CPC M is preparing for the PGP 2020.

Mine is exactly the same case with file transferred to New Delhi Visa Office at this late stage when I was expecting DM and PPR. My parents are also with me. I got similar letter last Friday.
