There's a 10 digit (alphanumeric) verification ID that the institution must include in their response to WES. Guide your institute to use that unique reference number (ONLY mentioned in the mail they have received from WES) in their response to WES as well. This number is not known to us as our reference number is different from the one sent by WES to the institutions.

Thank you for your response, do you have an email where you could show me the reference 10 digit (alphanumeric) verification ID, in a email sent to university., you may forward the same to Sivakumarelangovan@gmail.com...i really had hard time making them understand the verification ID, as they mistake it with the WES refence number., sorry for the trouble

@AniketSen88 - Looks like I also need to send someone to the WBUT Haringhata campus to get things moving, since I am out of city. Request you to please let me know if you visit the campus and were able to get the verification done. Kindly share your experience. That would help many folks here.

HI Rahul. ..did you get your ECA done for AkTU.....I m waiting from 30 Nov and university mentioned d that they have sent the reply on 3rd Dec. Still the wes status shows on hold. Please help and let me know ur Stutus.
WES confirmed receipt of my documents on December 7, 2018 and left it under review until yesterday January 14 when I called them. The lady on the other end confirmed there was no request for additional documents and they were being reviewed. Once accepted, it would be 20 business days until I get my report she said.
20 minutes after the call ended I get the nightmare email from WES telling me my documents have been sent to Mumbai University for verification.
Has anyone dealt with this problem and MU before? What did you do?
I am 100% sure MU will do nothing which means I have to go there. I don't know who to email/call/speak with.
A punishment for calling, I guess.

Nothing to do with your call and everything to do with your having studied from MU I suspect...All Indian institutes under the scanner unfortunately! Not much we can do about it in hindsight eh...Studies have been completed ages ago, and we are now bearing the brunt of it
Take care and refer to the conversation I’ve looped you into for any clues as to what would work with MU and WES...My school replied to WES on the 29th of December,till now WES still claims they’ve not seen it,I went back to my school today,I saw the email they sent with my unique 10 numbers in bold figures,I asked them to plsss re send the email again,I honestly think WES is having a problem processing their emails. I know of someone that waited for 3 weeks before his status changed and before that,anytime he calls them they will tell him they’ve not received anything.
