I would advise you to be in constant touch with COE. The transcript verification is a different dept and degree verification is a different department (It is behind the transcript section and they’ve assigned an individual for each zone I guess). WES has mentioned that both transcript and degree have to be verified by the university.

I too have the same issue.My evaluation is awaiting verification by Anna University.Do you have a number or an email id that you reached Anna university about this?

It took at least 8-9 weeks overall, once WES gets the email reply from the institution, then its pretty fast (after they get email reply it should take 2-3 weeks until you will receive the report). Everytime you will call WES, they will not tell you exactly if they received the email reply from your university, each time a different story by WES. As long as your university tells the truth thats all matters. To be honest, its a big stress to have university reply the WES email if you are not there and are trying to get it done by phone as they simply are sitting on it.

WES would most probably update one by one, in my case, they updated two documents received (i.e. one by one). Please check your WES online account. Also, WES should email you as soon as they update their account to say all your documents (email verification reply from university) are accepted and we will send you the report..

Please let me know if you would have more questions. I went through the whole process and its very frustrating and shouldn't take that long at all but this is how it is unfortunately and it was very stressful time to wait :(

Yes, it is on hold as WES was seeking for the secondary verification from the institutions. As you said, I have already asked my respective institutions regarding this secondary verification process, and they told me that they had already responded to WES for the reverification through electronic as well as physical mode (I was given this reply 2 weeks back). However, when I spoke to WES yesterday, they told me a different story that they didn't get any response and still waiting for it! After learning that I'm stressed a lot

  3. This is PUNJAB TECHNICAL UNI IN INDIA
  4. Shall i send any document to WES Or this process will be done by the aforesaid uni(PTU) on their own??

Unfortunately, PTU has been blacklisted by WES due to their carelessness, because PTU officials were not responding to WES on time. However, you don't have to worry, as it doesn't mean that WES won't make your ECA report. But, maybe due to this WES is gonna take extra time for your evaluation process, and it is more likely that your ECA report will be delayed by another 8-12 weeks (as per my estimate, the job could also be done before that).

Sending the documents to the WES for one more time won't be beneficial for you, as WES is seeking for a direct reply from your institution.
So, I would recommend you to visit your institution and request them to respond to the WES querries as soon as possible.
I know "on hold" status is a big stress for the candidates, I am also facing the same situation, but we are incapable to do anything at this time. We can do only one thing and that is 'have patience and wait'.

Hi all,

I already have a WES ECA report with Canadian Equivalency of Bachelors Degree of 4 years, now I need to evaluate my PG Diploma, so do I need to send documents of my Bachelor degree again along with the documents of PG Diploma as per the new rules or or only documents of my PG Diploma are enough as my Bachelors degree was already evaluated by WES?

Also my WES reference number was generated way before December 1 2018, so if I upgrade my report, does the new rules apply to me?

Hi seadragon,
If you already have an ECA report for your bachelor's, then according to me you don't need to send it again, as WES is already having the copies of those at their end. However, you can upgrade your account by adding more credentials and asking WES to evaluate those as well. You will find that option in your account only. For the detailed procedure, you must contact with WES officials using the "contact us" feature on their official website, also you can reach them through this contact number +14169720070 (WES canada) for the direct ony-to-one communication. To be honest I must tell you that you will be put on hold for almost 15-20 minutes before your call is being answered.

Guys anybody who has got secondary verification mail from WES for BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY or someone who has successfully finished their secondary verification from this university please reply, i need some advice on the re-verification process.

WES received my docs on Dec 21st and on Jan 10th my staus was again changed to 'On Hold' and
We are waiting for your institution(s) to verify your documents.

Both my masters and bachelors were from ANU (Nagarjuna Uni) and Bachelros was accepted and Master were awaiting for re-verification from the University. Do anyone know how much time it will take and whether any one will respond to this from ANU.

I'm going through the same thing for about 3 months now, though my university responds to WES, it is still on hold and the reason stated is "
We received a verification response from your institution however it did not include the verification code required for them to include in our request. Unfortunately without this code we cannot confirm that the response is referencing the request we sent them and that the response is being sent from the appropriate authority in the institution. ", it will be great if you could guide me through here
