Hey GUys,

its 53 days going to send my Passort to CHC,Stil E-cas coming ''Application received''

other thing is that when i open E-cas through my wife UCI# its coming DM,and we started ur application on that XX date.when it send to ND.
but when i open Ecas through my file no.its coming ''Application received''

What does it mean?

Please anyone explain?My application is under processing or sstil in review by visa officer?
Sunny or Singhson or anyone good knowledge about CIC can explain this factor?

Did you say you're seeing DM on ecas when you attempt to query with ur wife's UCI? If yes, Congratulations. You're more likely approved and will get your pp very soon.

Mine is also in the same waiting status since last 20 days and I only see "App rec'd" status.

one way which i sent to CHC-ND is talk snapshot one by one and save it in jpeg File. then print it in A4

in this way they have all your conversations, time duration and dates and both of you guys name on the records ..

hi guys,

i filed mine on nov 22 was approved for sponsorship on jan 24 and got ppr on feb 16.

the pp reached them on feb 20. since then no word :|. ecas is still application received , medicals have been received.

is this normal ?

i am checking ecas everyday and it has never showed in process.

Did you say you're seeing DM on ecas when you attempt to query with ur wife's UCI? If yes, Congratulations. You're more likely approved and will get your pp very soon.

DM in the "Sponsorship Application" status just means you got approved as a sponsor. Step 2 is the one where you want to see a DM.

Hello,

It simply means that your wife's sponsorship has been approved and they moved further with your application, but its clear that your application is still ''application received''.
Its the same thing for everyone, I am sponsoring my wife, so when I check my UCI status, it shows DM for sponsorship and ''application received'' for my wife

Hi Abad,

If you have time, please apply for the GCM notes and you will know why they are calling you for the interview. It will give you an opportunity to prepare well for the interview.

It takes 30 days to get the GCM notes. So if your interview is after a month, then go ahead and apply for the GCM notes. It only costs $5 and you can do it online. Hope this helps you.

Hi there, this is a useful site to figure out immigration acronyms: http://immipedia.ca/Acronyms

COPR is not on that list as far as I can see. It refers to the Confirmation of Permanent Residence document issued by the visa office; it contains your personal identifying information. Once you're approved for PR, the visa office will issue both a COPR (proof of your PR) and a permanent resident visa (allowing you to travel to Canada). So you need both documents to land in Canada.

My application is just a week ahead of yours and I haven't heard anything yet either. CPC-M has really slowed down since the new year. I call them every couple of days and they keep telling me to be patient. Easy for them to say... Although the website says they're working on applications received Jan 25th, in practice it seems to be Jan 12th or so as per the reports from other January applicants.

As you are the sponsor, you may already have a client ID if you yourself immigrated to Canada or if you previously had a work permit. CPC-M should be able to tell you what that number is right away. Your application file number will come later.
