Yes, blank legal paper like you can buy at any stationery store in the US or Canada. I find it ironic that they're doing this to save money but since there is no metric equivalent of legal size paper they have to pay to ship legal size paper around the world. I'm sure it's still cheaper than the pretty forms, but it would have been cheaper to figure out how to fit it all onto an 8.5x11" sheet or A4 sheet.

Seriously there was so much blank space on mine it could easily fit onto an 8.5x11 sheet.

we share same date of application file and same visa office Ottawa..but i didnt heard any thing yet my medical is expired on 28 feb do u think i email ottawa office regarding medical expiration

Just give you guys an update on my case:

05/25/2012: Sent application to CPP-M
07/20/2012: File forward to CPP-Ottawa
01/10/2013: Received an email for additional documents to show sponsor's intention to live in Canada, and pay RPRF
01/16/2013: Sent additional documents and receipts for RPRF to CPP-Ottawa
01/28/2013: Receive PPR email from CPP-Ottawa request sending passport to LA consulate
02/01/2013: Passport arrived in LA consulate
02/21/2013: Sent an email to LA consulate inquiring status of my passport
02/22/2013: Received an phone call from LA consulate saying RPRF cannot be processed in Ottawa, need to send it to CPP-M
02/22/2013: Sent RPRF-receipt to CPP-M
03/06/2013: Receive an email from LA consulate saying processing complete, ask for passport again! (WTF, it's in your consulate already!)
03/11/2013: Decision Made showing on Ecas display

Finger crossed .. Hopefully receive wife's passport and CORP soon!

So I sent my application August 30th and my sponsorship approval was sometime in October. Ever since then I have been trying to sign into ECAS but it never recognizes me. So I sent Ottawa and email asking them of my status and why ECAS was not working for me. Well this was their reply;
"Good day,

Your application is in process. It was actually recently transferred to the visa office in Los Angeles. They will contact you when more information is required.

Warm regards"

So still the question of the ECAS was not answered.
So I am still sort of in the dark on this application. I wanted to find out if this is normal procedure (transfer from Ottawa to LA), and if it is, how long does it take to get to the stage of PPR? Also does this mean interview has been waived?

Ugh! Not having my ECAS working is not kool at all!!

I can log into ECAS but that thing is useless anyway. At least you know LA is working on your file. I'm in the dark.

I have emailed CPPOTT many times and gotten replies within 24 hrs with real answers, have you tried asking them what is the problem?

Wow, I wish I could get replies in 24hours!
Usually it has been about a week to get a reply.

I read something somewhere that each case is assigned to a certain agent, and some are faster than others. Even though I email to the generic address my replies are always signed by

Hmmm that's interesting. What email are you sending it to?
Because my replies dont say any agents number or identification of any sort.

I believe your timeline is different because yours was transferred from Islamabad so it's not really useful for you to use my timeline as reference. You can try contacting them but it's up to them if they want to extend it or request that you do new ones.

Yuck! Nah, we're not waiting anymore. I'm moving in with my hubby in two months PPR or not!
