Application sent : Sep 2013 Letter to appear for test : March 15 2014 test taken and passed : April 10 2014 At what stage they collect our finger prints ?

I applied in September and took the test on April 10 in Montreal . But so far no one has asked me for finger prints . When do they do that ? The officer just said that I passed the test and that a judge will decide in 2-4 months And when is the back ground check gets done usually ?

I submitted mine in mid September , Test date was April 10 . Waiting for their reply - she said 2-4 month - Montreal .

I stayed for almost 1100 days non stop from summer 2010 to summer 2013 . I have couple of small exits to USA but that was before the non stop stay . Self employed the whole time running my own small business - Single applicant .

I applied for Citizenship end August 2013 . They just notified me that my test will take place early April 2014 in Montreal . Is this normal or what ? Always I was reading here it was taking 12-15 month but only took me 7 months . Does anyone know if the swearing ceremony takes place same day...

In the new citizenship application they ask for photocopy of biometric page with photo and personal info on it . What about the pages that have entry / exit stamps ? Don't they want a photocopy of that ? Shall I add them just in case ?

In the new Application for Canadia Citizens - Adults - Section G they ask for school history of ANY DEPENDENT children . My children below 18 live in my home country with their divorced mother - I don't provide for them nor get any tax rebates for them . Do they count as DEPENDENT children ...

Thanks . So if they ask for them I will bring them . If they dont mention them in their letter I just keep them home . Right ? Or I bring them anyway ??

As per CIC website minors do not need to take the Citizen test . But I heard they must accompany me to the interview bcz they are over 14 . Can anyone verify that ?

I am now waiting for my citizen exam in couple of weeks . I heard that now its obligatory to meet a citizen judge and show him proof of stay so he can approve my citizenship and proceed to the oath ceremony . Did anyone hear of this new rule ? Thanks WD
