I just finished call with CIC agent and confirmed that my card in production now. Photos were re-submitted and received on 19th May and landed on 16th March.

Oh really? for how long? I did not know this and thinking will get end of next week.

No one knows for sure, last time in 2011 it was 5/6 weeks, but this time it's expected to be 8 weeks or longer.

Very little hope. No agreement in sight between Canada Post and the union.

That's what I heard from someone. So the last strike lasted 2 weeks - not too bad.

No Photo request even though the photos submitted were of the older specification.
