Hi,
We both are in the same boat, I am also waiting for my PR card since last 100 days, I called CIC in March 18 they said your card is printed but there is some printing mistake so they need to reprint the card, wait for one more Month till may first week.
I am also from pakistan, your landed in Feb bro myself is landed on 23 Jan, keep Intouch and updated, do you have any idea CIC delay such cases who called them frequently? Myself Calder CIC every week, I thought maybe be they delay our PR card due to this, what you say?
How may phone call you made since your landing to fill now?
We have no choice, the only one that wait wait wait.....
Best of luck brother

I submitted my photos on March 8th and I have called CIC several times but they say they can not give any information if it has not passed 6 months since I send them the photos. So I have to wait. :( still no Pr card. Please let me know if you have received yours!

Well my husband is still waiting for his card.
Landed November 2, 2015
Got letter for new pics April 15, 2016
Sent new pics via express post on April 21, 2016

Now just waiting, 144 days after landing and still no PR - 5 months and counting.
It is a bit of a joke that we had to wait 4 months to be told immigration needs new pictures.

Can't wait till the PR Card comes - I want to go on vacation!!! :D

bro, if you landed on 2nd Nov., you have waited for more than 170 days (may be 174 days?), not 144 days, coz you will stay here for 6 months on 2 May.

6 months after submitting the photos?
OMG, It takes several months for them to validating our photo and sending a printed paper of new photo request, and then it will take another 6+ months for us to know what will happen! That's really ridiculous, is CIC the biggest joker in the world?!

Like many people on this forum I have been waiting a while for my PR Card.
I landed on Jan 10th. I called them April 4th and got the request for photos. Ugh - why not contacted earlier?! Considering the processing time is 54 days ish, why not a simple e-mail after that time? I allowed a further 4/5 weeks after this before I called.
Guy on the phone for the request was perfectly friendly and pulled up my file no problem.

I sent the required photos the next day courier and they got there April 8th. Signed be MIKE, which I've noticed many people have had so that's good to know! I allowed 2 and a bit weeks before calling to see if the card was now in production at least but as many others have had, I hit a brick wall with the guy. He would not tell me anything! To be fair to him he had probably dealt with a lot of people being angry at him but even so, I was perfectly calm and he went off on one for ages. I barely even spoke, he was so defensive. I felt like saying "I have travel plans based on the time it would take to get the card and now I may not be able to travel" but I knew he wouldn't care and that as usual I would get most of my information off this forum!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed the card take roughly a month to come which based off some people who've re-submitted seems to be about right (although there are ones waiting a lot longer!). I am going to Mexico for my brother's wedding in 2 and a half weeks, I hope to get it before then! I know that ETA now has a leniency period till the autumn, so I will probably be ok to fly to Canada and once I'm on the plane I know I'm fine. (I am British so I know before ETA came along I would have been fine).
I've driven in to Canada since landing from the states and will do again this weekend and know that's fine, worst comes to worst in future and can always fly to Seattle and drive from there (I'm in Vancouver).

Anyone here need their PR Card to get their driver's licence renewed? I was on an IEC Visa for 2 years and had a BC drivers licence that expired last month. I went in to renew with my landing document and they only gave me an interim licence and won't send me the card till I come back in person with PR card. The interim only lasts a few more weeks, hopefully ICBC can extend it again otherwise I can't drive with out the PR card. Thanks CIC!

I thought once I got DM and landed on Jan 10th my journey was over, not yet!

Sorry for the late reply.

Landed Jan13th
PR cards received : 28 Feb

Waiting times went down to 38days from 104 days within weeks not sure how or why that happens.
Just wait and see..
Hope this helps someone

My bad - math is not my strong point! today is 169 days
