Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Hi all of my friends,

Good day . Today My friend at Canada received new PR card for me. Last week my friend received my baby PR card. And my wife PR card still not yet received. Our PR card will expire on 10 Dec 2020 , meaning is that they print my baby and my PR card on that date.

I don't know why my wife PR card still not yet receive. Hope next week can get.

Yes the design is new design. I ask my friend who landed Sept 1, compare his PR and my PR card, take photo and send it to me. Many changes style for new PR card.

Nothing again this week. Short week next week with Christmas... don't think I'm getting anything from Santa this year. :/

Dear Zi1,

So far no update. Now I can log in either with my COPR or UCI. Hope all ppl can received our PR Cards soon. I try to call many times to +1613 944 4000, but CIC nvr pick up my call. but last 2 or 3 weeks ago, I called 2 times, no problem. Which number should I call> is that the correct number. Thanks.

dear Myat. ...I think you also got confirmation mail of receipt of application from cic on Dec 01. Did you call from outside canada and did they respond your call. The address I gave of my relative has not been updated on ecas.should we change the address online now or just wait for pr cards.

I did not receive any "EMAIL" from CIC on 1st Dec. Do you mean I received "MAIL" by Canada post? I didn't receive anything.

As I have Canada local mobile number and I dirvert to Singapore mobile number, I can call. But 1888-242-2100 , every time I call no answer. I called two times to 1613-944-4000 but you can't call now because they change menu. Recently I called 2 times and agent told me now you can't call this number.

For my case, they only update my local home address around Nov 11,2015 but my Ecas change to "COMPLETE" on Nov 2. I think you can update online . But I remember agent told me that as you give your local Canada home address at POE, although in Ecas not update should be ok. One forum member got his PR card, but his home address is still showing his origin country address. But if you want, you can change it from online.

Hope you will get your PR cards soon.

dear i m thankful for your reply. I hope to get it soon. Well i was talking about the email i received from cic on 7th dec confirming that they have received my application for pr card and nothing else except the typical words that how yiu can check processing time and how i can change address.

within 7 business days you should get your card in your mailbox.

Guysss give me some hope:
I landed on november 12, 3 days after that they updated my address and changed my name to be adequate to the length on the pr card.
Friday, 1 and a half month after landing, the status changed to complete.
Could that mean that they are working on my application?

PR Card processing time, seems to be very long . I am planning to land in March But I have 60 Days to get my PR.
