Hi,
I ordered my 1st GCMS, and it as following:
Criminality: Passed
Eligibility: Passed
Medical: Passed
Security:
Application Assignment:
Due Date: 2016/12/18
So my questions are: 1. what's it mean for Security blank? Is it not started?
2. What's due date mean? Final decision will made by that due date?

Thanks for your advises :)

1. Blank means it is ongoing or is complete...another way to confirm if your security is complete is from officer notes...if officer notes mention "A/35 A/37 No concerns" something of that sort means security is complete...

2. Due date is known as bring forward date or BFD where they bring your file forward and re-review your file...send it for assessments/pending doc requests as the case maybe...

Best wishes! :)

The last two notes are as following:
***OFFICER REVIEW*** EE eligible passed....I am satisfied that PA meets A11.2 Assessment. I am satisfied that PA meets eligibility under EE-M1 PV2
***OFFICER REVIEW*** No A 35/37 concerns evident for PA

Is this means I'm close to PPR? How long it usually take from this stage to PPR?

That means security is done man..relax...you are standing right before the finish line..

PPRs happen in batches..so your PPR might be sitting in a batch- once full they will send it out..i cant confirm a timeframe regarding how long it takes but yeah some days, not much more waiting for you

Best Wishes and Congratulations in advance! :)

Congrats bro! The most time consuming part of your background check i.e. security is completed successfully. Wait to hear the great news of PPR!

I don't know if anyone has asked this before, but when and how can i request a GCMS notes?

Hi All,

Does anyone know how long usually it takes when the Notes says "Ready to Finalise" by Program Assistant???

You can request GCMS notes any time. But, ideal time is after 2 months of AOR.

I believe " Ready to finalize" doesn't mean you are going to get PPR very soon. I have it mentioned in my notes immediately after A11.2 met but nothing happened for last two months. In my opinion, CIC has done most of their stuff and application is good from their perspective, however, security takes a long time(generally) and unless that is completed "Ready to finalize" has no implications.
