What is the due date mentioned on the second page of your GCMS notes?
Mine is 20th Dec 2016 :'(

I just got my GCMS note and it is so similar to yours. Last update was on 20th October when it was transfered to Ottawa and my due date too is 20th Dec 2016.
My timelines are as follows:
AOR: 09/10/2015
Schedule A: 15/10/2015
Medical passed: 15/10/2015.

I have not heard anything since then. It is obvious from my gcms notes that my file has not been touched since October. So sad!!!

Obviously an error....these guys are human beings. It won't take that long in my opinion.

I think its standard timing or there is something else!! Mine is written 20 November 2016

Cant be an error theres more than one person with the same issue. And I have seen other folks posting multiple GCMS notes and the only think that changed for them is the assignment date.

Just keeping my fingers crossed that all of us get the PR within the 6 month time frame.
Moreover this is just the first step.
Actual challenge begins once we get there and start from scratch.

What is the average time for the notes to arrive - it says 30 days on the website. Does anyone know how accurate this is? I'm having a hard time trusting CIC timelines

Lately, it has been taking more than 30 days for GCMS notes to arrive. I ordered on January 18th, and still haven't received them. On contacting, received the following response:
"Thank you for contacting the Access to Information and Privacy Office.

We acknowledge that your request is now overdue. According to our records, your request was due on February 17th 2016.

We have flagged your request as a priority and the information will be forwarded to you as soon as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause."
