hi Friends,

I've received APINP Invitation Pkg. It says I am required to complete and return the Original Application for provincial Nomination (ABPNP 003) and forward a photocopy of completed federal Immigration forms.

I am confused what does this ORIGINAL ABPNP 003 form means? if i just print out the form and fillup the informations will that work?

what about photocopy of federal Immigration form? is this IMM 0008 form. I am the prinicipal applicant and have no dependent.

I'll appreciate your help

In the AINP Package you should have received a form for AINP, that is the ABPNP 003. you should send the original. So I recommend you take a copy of that form and play around with it, once you are sure of the info you can fill it up :)
Along with the AINP form you received the forms of the CIC process... fill them up, take a copy of the forms and send the copies to Alberta. Keep the originals because you'll need them for the CIC process once you are nominated by the province....

It does not matter you can make copies from web or you can use the ABPNP application you received. Original ABPNP mean whatever form you use either from web or the one you got, send the original that depict your signature of acknowledgment is displayed.
Regard to the CIC, fill up the form on web, make print out, do signature and make a photocopy and send it to them. They just want to make sure you send them a copy of CIC not the originally form as you can use the original form once you get the nomination and you forward to CIC.
Hope it helps. Since you are working in financial consulting specialist, would you please email me to answer few questions?
I would appreciate it.

Dear Friends,

I got my pre-assessment approved. My timeline is:
October 17th: Applied for pre-assessment
October 17th: Received confirmation
December 5th: Invited for AINP (invitation dated December 1st, 2008)

Guys I have hired a lawyer for the process. I wanted to get the document together for the second stage over the weekend but I couldn't get in touch with my lawyer this evening. Could you please tell me what all documents I would need for the second stage? Does anyone know in what stage does Alberta verify job details for the candidate?

Thanks in advance,

Durka

felix31, I got my pre-assessment in 2 - 3 weeks.

I am sure they are much faster than what they are committing to in the e-mail response.

Good Luck to you..

Hi Durka,
Here are the docs you need to start compiling now, while waiting for your lawyer:
- Notarized copy of Passports: You & your dependents
- Notarized diploma & certification of you & your spouse
(u may include trainings certs, no need to have these notarized)
- Copy of your valid Visa to the US
- Job Description from current employee in US, w/ job title, main duties
- proof of employment from current & previous employment (paystubs, contract etc)
- Application Form to Alberta (original)
- Application to CIC (photocopy)

I may have forgotten some, but these are the top docs needed.
Goodluck!!

Congradulations to everyone, who moved to the next stage.

I have not included my spouse diploma & degree certifications to AINP application and i believe its not required.

Still seniors can confirm this.

If she is not the principal applicant then you do not need to submit her documents..

Hi Mitzi,

I read your note on notarizing the documents. I'm in Michigan and tried to get the copy of documents notarized but they said MI doesn't allow documents to be notarized. Only my signature can be notarized and suggested that I should write a note that I'm attaching true, unaltered and complete copies of the originial document bla bla... and sign it in front of Notary which he can notarize.

Could you pls confirm that's what needs to be done or someone can actually notarize the copies as certified or true copies of original document ?

Thanks in advance.
Regards

I am from MI , I got the same thing done at the bank where they asked me to sign after which they stamped
and signed it. Btw, the bank officer did check my original documents before signing.

Hopefully that should work.

hello there!
i am in WI ....and i bank at two banks.....my older bank has been notarizing my documents always without any probs....but the new bank people gave me the same reasoning as yours .......so i think the policy varies from bank 2 bank.....try talking to someone in the bank who knows you / your record better...........all the best!

See if they will sign off as a "true copy". I have done it several times at the local Chase bank as well as the notary's in my office, but I live in TX.

Seems like it varies from bank to bank and state to state. Best is to call your nearest UPS,USPS,FedexKinkos and ask if they can do it. I made two failed attempts at two banks in NJ. Finally got it done from Kinkos for a nominal fee. I don't like bankers anyway.

I live in LA and "notary public" is quite easy to find here. It costs $10.00 per page - quite expensive :(( that's why I did not have my other training certificates notarized anymore..just those very important docs. Our Bank of America here do not offer that kind of service BTW..maybe it varies on the states we live in.....
