Hello iam_toby,

I am just having a bit of confusion, i wonder if you can make it clear. So i received my PGWP on Sep 21, 2012 and thus my 1 year full time work experience will be counted untill Sep 21, 2013. Right?

However, i submitted the Employer Reference letter dated Sep 10, 2013 with my application because i was preparing my papers ahead of time to make the file ready for applying.

Is that ok?

Thanks.

Employment letter is the most important documents among all, missing date is a very big error without it, the vo cannot verify if get has gained one year exp or not by the date when the app was received. Other doc such ad pay slip us not mandatory doc.

But one thing surprised me is cic did not give him a chance to prove following the fairness procedures though it is new applied to app after Nov 08, I have seen it applied to many ppl before then. It is tough luck to him!

yeah july people are getting MR now..things are quite fast now days. May 1200 applicants after november reduces the load a lot. I dont understand how come they received less number of applications under new rules...they only took out certain noc...do u think cio rejected many applications in pre screening..

These NOC codes are very popular. It impacts a lot of ppl! In particular new graduates. As they are either entry level positions such as bookkeeping, office admin, or jobs required less education such as chef.

It is just my guess that there might be a pre screening procedures, as to me it makes perfect sense to be more efficient. That is what they are doing based on the new rules that the app with insufficient language scores will be returned right away from CIO other than from Ottawa like before, after 10 months time waiting.
