Thanks

actually i applied since November 2009 , in August 2011 i received a RQ and they requested for all documents such as , taxes, school, bail, hydro, telephone, bank account statements, credit cards statements, everything that can be proof , i sent to them and i did interview in January 2012 with the agent in Montreal and she was convinced 100% that i lived in Canada 1095 days, yeah one more think she asked for the entries and exit from my country, and finally she said we don't trust your country and all papers are coming from there fake

@ medimawla, Wow , that is really hard , so if she was convinced then what is the problem ? , what CIC waiting for to finalize your case?

Hi All,

Is it compulsory to have CBSA reports attached with the citizenship application? When and how to apply and obtain this report? Should I apply for CBSA report after completing 1095 days or before that as I have listened that CBSA staff normaly take 60 days to send the report? Please advice me that do we need to cover 4 years time or we can cover more than four year in terms of living, study and work in Canada and abroad?

Thanks

Ash

The current Citizenship application form has a section where you authorize CIC to obtain CBSA records electronically. You can get your CBSA records to verify the dates you will be declaring in your application. Don't apply before you have 1095 days and declare only to the timeline requested for in the form i.e the 4 years prior to application date.

Hi Just wanted to share my time line.
We applied in Feb. 2012 and got the RQ in Dec.
I'll keep you posted.

Best of luck to you all,

Maisa

@Maisa, Thank you for posting , I am Very similar to your case but 4 Months ahead of you.

Keep us posted and best of luck to you too.

Which is the website of cbsa and do I need to pay any charges and what is mode to apply for traveling history through mail or email?
Thx
Ash

We used to live in Dubai so that might be the RQ trigger I suppose.
I just mailed our RQ on the 23rd , got confirmation of delivery today. Our RQ pile was HUGE. So frustrating. What about u? I mean what could have triggered yours?

Same here , I use to work in Qatar , landed 2006 then went back to Qatar for 2 years ,came to Canada in 2008 to live permanently with the family, I applied Dec 2012 ,fulfilling more than 1095 days by an extra month.

Got a Pre test RQ in Aug and sent CIC tons of proofing Docs.

Waiting is not nice, do you have any other friends in the same boat?
