Latest information from CIC Call center:- Sydney office started opening photos which received on Sept 12th.
on 25th October they were processing 15th Aug photos.

With this stat i am hoping i will get myPR card by 16th Dec.

Could you please share the Sydney office call center number? Thank you.

Hi all, so i landed on 7th April in Toronto. Photos were requested on around 22nd May which got delivered to CIC on 1st June. Anyone with the same kind of timeline who got an application update of any kind please share it here?
My status still shows submitted. So I'm still waiting and and hoping the photos that i sent were accepted this time.

Just called CIC. They are currently working on pictures received on up till 4th June (Monday). My pictures reached 1st June which was the Friday before so they said just give it a few more days since they dont have any notes on their system yet and call back next week for an update.

Does anyone know if the processing is delayed if you send the photos by courier rather that regular post...photos delivered on 28th may but no updates yet!

I got photo request on 25 april, 2018 but i could not check the mail for some reasons and missed the deadline. what should I do now ? do i have to pay for the new application. I landed here in toronto on 10th march 2018. Please advice

Hi Ajay,
I am in a similar situation. I called the IRCC helpdesk - (1888 242 2100. Select options 2 then 3 then 2 again and select talk to a representative). I told the agent that I had missed the email and the deadline has passed (>40days). I asked if I need to start a new application. She told me that there is no need to start a new application for PR card. Just include an explanation letter explaining the reason for the delay and send it along with the photos and copy of email requesting the resubmission of photos. I have sent it on 12th June but haven't heard back yet.
Could you please share if you have any update from CIC regarding your case?

My photos delivered on may 24th. Till now no news...

After photo request email, there was no indication of anything by email or ircc site. Just had to wait for the card to come in the mail.

Thank you, that helps my nerves otherwise I was thinking why there is no update on IRCc yet. So one can hope that it's probably okay and I will just recieve them in the mail one day.
