I have CRS 430 now but will be losing 6 points for age in this month making it 424. In your experience, does it make sense to me to wait for an invite, hopping the scores will fall to that level or is it ideal for me to opt for a student visa? Forgive me if my question is stupid. I'm a bit nervous.
Have you maxed out your IELTS? I'd do that first.

Our score is very low due to 0 age points - 384 - even though IELTS, experience, and education are only 2 points lower than max. So the canadian master's degree and learning french are my next steps.

The student route is possible, especially if you tell them you are getting the degree to increase your CRS so you can legally immigrate. But tuition isn't cheap, so it's a big commitment.

Hi gavin,

Congrats mate on re opening of HCP.
Do the submission, update the tracker and your signature asap.
I've started my OINP application but still need to get my POF sorted.. found out yesterday that I may need to fly over to the UK to sort that out which is a bit frustrating but will 100% do it if I don't win over the phone today.

As both Draw 75 and Draw 76 occurred on the same day (Nov 1 - which was the predicted date for Draw 75), changing the draw numbers for the remaining draws. Predicted dates remain same though!

Draw Date Prediction: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/ray-of-hope-72nd-draw.516087/page-50#post-6355354

I am predicting the remaining draw dates for 2017:

Draw 77: Nov 8
Draw 78: Nov 22
Draw 79: Dec 6
Draw 80: Dec 20

I am expecting 4 more draws in 2017.[/QUOTE.

I Guess as long as your crs score and primary noc does not change and its related work experience fulfils OINP requirement, you should be good to go.
I had a similar case where after receiving noi, i removed my high school and work details that were more than 10 yrs old and had to go in personal history later.
Best of luck.
Thanks nabs17. You made these changes after receiving the NOI? I’m assuming you went the OINP route.

2 things:

1. Removing the work exp. should not affect your CRS scores and FSW criteria of 67/100. Check that. If you are unaffected in these two cases, you can remove them.

2. If you have appointment letters and relieving letters from these companies, along with your Business cards or You have colleagues or seniors or Owners who can still write letters stating your work and compensation details along with the duties performed... I think that could help. I have a similar case in one of my company where I don’t have pay stubs, but my relieving letter states my salary and designation during that period and I intend to take a fresh letter from one of the owners stating my duties performed.

Hope this would help. Please seek views of others also.

Thanks.
Thanks so much. This is really helpful.

I have completed a 2 year Post graduate dipolma in Human Resources Management from SCDL (Symbosis Center for Distance Learning).
While I am waiting for my WES report, I wanted to check - has anyone here completed any program from SCDL? Is it recognized by WES?

Hi Sundar,

First of all Many congratulations you got NOI.

I would be requiring some information from in relation to NOI - OINP. If you can advise me if how to apply for OINP for Networking Technicians (My brother). He has an MSc Networking UK. MCS Pakistan PGD IT Pakistan and a 2 years bachelors programme. Experience is almost 16 years.
Thanks again for your wishes Hassan :)

I believe you already knew about creating Express entry profile, if not go through the thread https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/express-entry-step-by-step-instructions.273928/ .

By creating EE profile, you would already have your IELTS score and Educational Credential evaluated.

Regarding OINP, general rule is that applicants with >= 400 will receive their NOI which is valid for 6 months. However, there were instances where province issue NOI irrespective of the score targeting specific NOC's (one can only speculate which NOC they will target). Hence, it is advisable to try all means for achieving the target score >= 400.

Now that you have everything sorted out, gather all the documents which is deemed mandatory and follow the application guide to apply.
http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL.html. This link will provide a lot of clarification.

Your NOI is valid 6 months. Once registered, you have only 14 days to submit the documents , so plan accordingly.

Hope it helped.
