Well finally there is a good news although not expected this way. I got a mail from BIQ Paris notifying me of a selection interview in June and its taking place in Ghana but I honestly thought I will get a waiver cos from my calculation I hit the waiver point but all the same let them bring it on cos I'm sure with the help of God and the good people on this forum I'll scale thru the interview without any stress. I know there has been various aspects on how to prepare for the selection interview at one time or the other on this forum but I will still appreciate links that might be of help. Contributions from the newest guy with the maple leave in the house will be appreciated Shahi, egrace, lirjan, wingsof, etc.

Thank you all.

Hi Abehola,

Wow, see at last u got ur interview letter now... i m very happy and getting more stronger that we shall also get our aor or interview letter soon. Plz tell us which country r u from and wot is ur franch level... becoz mine is zero and wot is ur area of training..

Regds,
Mansoor

@dided,

In couple of years the rules and laws might change because every 4 years they are modifying their immigration laws, so you would better apply now or before end of this year in order to avoid loosing this golden opportunity.

For interview A2 Level french is enough .

good luck

Mansoor,

Timeline is this:
Application sent 5th January 2010, it was received at the BIQ office in Paris on the 10th of January, credit card was charged on the 2nd of February and I got a Selection Interview letter dated 29th of March via the mail. Also, I'm from Nigeria and I am on the priority list as my area of preferred training is Biochemistry. French level is basic and I'm still learning.

I am sure we'll all pull thru as long as we stick by what they require.
Bonne Chance.

Ok I so finally prepared my application for federal!

I was managed to recall all of my travels and I included every single address! Ufff

I prepared a separate sheet of paper because I didnt have enough room in the application from.

I'm sending my application tomorrow! :)

Mansoor,

The Jan 2010 written was an error, the application was sent Jan 2011 and the interview letter was dated 29th March as I wrote but just got to read it today. So, there isn't any confusion there.

thx dear now there is no further confusion... just pray for us to get our aor or interview letter ASAP

@ wings

But you don't need addresses only if you have lived 6 months and more in other countries.

Congratulations for posting tomorrow. Before to post the files say a prayer :)

@ Lirjan

Everyone says that I need every single address even for like a month trips for my holidays in USA.

So I was sitting today for like half a day looking for address in my old notebooks, making calls and trying to recall every single one :)

So I dont know whether thats necessary or not..

Shahi, maybe you can help please! You're an expert!!!

By the way, if you always tell the truth in your application then federal after CSQ is more of a routinal procedure, thats what I think. I also have my PPCs and I have no criminal record whatsoever, not even a driving ticket! :)

Anyways, I pray every day for the the best outcome for all of us!

Hey guys,
If anyone u know the processing time taken by the immigration for P.R. in family class pls let me know.I live in Montreal,QC and my husband is Quebecois.I submitted my application 2 yrs back(2009) from Montreal as inland application as i came here 3 yrs back with a visting visa,I reiceved my approval letter, work permit and medical card last year in 2010.Till then i've not heard anything from them, eveyrtime i call them they says oh it's in process. It's really frustrating for me as i can,t go to any college or do some course.I can't work here in QC as per my qualification and experience as i am not allowed to work with children n senior people. So all i need is my P.R. card which i don't know when........pls pass me any info if u know......thanks >:(
