Yes of course ... this happens if the applicant is unable to meet the required points for selection even after the intrerview. It has happened to someone in this forum, can't remember his profile id right now.

Good luck!

Well, its advisable to at least speak basic french at the interview as that will greatly improve your chances of been selected, even if you are sure of meeting and exceeding the required point. I have a friend on priority that scaled through the interview with very minimal French, probably less than A1 level. I have read in some forums of a situation where an applicant was asked to go and improve on his/her french and return for the interview in about six months even after making 63 points.

Practising likely interview questions will definitely help in this regard. You should be able to talk about your education, family, job duties etc very easily. You can always listen for the key words (eg the french verb) to give you an idea of the question been asked.

Bonne Chance!!!

The list of areas of training on the left column are for determining points for foreign degrees (degrees obtained outside Quebec except on mutual recognition agreement (MRA) with Quebec) and the right column are for Quebec degrees or Quebec equivalent degrees.

Search for your area of training in the list and determine the number of points you will be awarded.

did you send only 1 form for yourself ? you need to have 2 sets of the form - 1 for urself & another for spouse.
was anything else missing ? signatures / blanks to be marked 'not applicable' etc . .

check everything patiently and do it. all the best.

you can go for TEF exam. I think AF doesn't conduct TEFaQ in India. TEF only conducts in the AF if there are minimum of 3 candidates register for test.
Canadien, Francaise,

I checked out at AF, Delhi, they are only conducting TEF. I checked out in various forums and it seems that TEFaQ / TCFaQ are easy in comparison to TEF. Any idea if these two are conducted by AF in India.

Also, I read in some forums that TEF/TEFaQ are given more weightage as compared to DELF A2 / B1 exams.
If you have any idea about the same.

Thanks..

Guys,

A few minutes ago I received my first ever reply from the BIQ I sent my application to. It is the AOR. My application has been assigned a dossier number and they will now proceed to charge my credit card.

It was an email and it says " this message will only be sent electronically". I filed my application on July 18. Today is August 9. My AOR took 22 days. I thought the first AOR would take ~2 months and arrive by regular mail (paper letter).

Is this AOR timeline regular like everyone else's or has it arrived a bit earlier? (which would be good news)

Thanks and good luck to everyone
