Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Guys i have a question who submitted Schedula A form recently....in personal history they have added new colomn "status " i wrote as refugee the years i were in india....When i submitted my application on 2012 that colomn is not there...

I live in Toronto and my husband is working in Colombo. You are right, some people get the visa as little as 3-4 months. It does not go by first come first serve basis. Time frame should be same for everyone. We don't even know whether they are actually working on our file and just letting it sit in a pile for a while.

That's true, my sister who applied from Paris got her visa within 6-7 months!! The srilankan VO is what is taking so much of time!!!! Fed up!!

lol seem like it but I think Praba said one of his friend in similar situation got his visa in 14 months so thats a good sign.

I am also spousal visa applicant to Canada from Srilanka. I have submitted my application on 28th September 2015 and then my file got transferred to Colombo Office in December 15th 2015. Then It got process in Colombo HC. Today I got email from High Commission to submit a schedule A form with updates.
(“ Submit new updated schedule A form. For questions 8 and 12 you have to give answers from your 18 yrs of age to date without leaving any gaps. Even though the form indicates that information is needed from either 18yrs of age or the past 10 yrs , information is needed from your 18 yrs of age to continue processing your application ”)
Any applicant have similar kind of query from high Commission ???? What was your reply? What is the main points in the question ? I believe Updated schedule . So needed to update my current address during the application submitted period? In my case 28/09/2015 to now (04/07/2016.) Thank you friends. Take care all.

Hi iam an december applicant I applied on 2nd December 2015 and I got the same email on march 25th . I sent the updated schedule A for both the category from 18 years. Since when I fowarded the application I sent for the last 10 years only. After that I have not heard anything from HC

I got the same email asking for new updated schedule A form and some other documents which we already submitted with the application.. Along with passport size photos..

Is there any applicant here who lived in india as a refugee and now living in srilanka. If there is anyone here can you please let me know whether you marked yes or no for question 6c on the background declaration form (imm5669). We were advised that the answer should be no because one cant claim refugee protection in india so if you lived as a refugee in india even for many years answer to question 6c should be no. Anyone know anything about this? I am sooo confused.

Hi friends! For the question number 8 in the schedule form A for personal history, do I have to mention the trips I've visited overseas? Last month I visited Singapore, just for 10 days, so do I have to mention that too for that question?
