Looks like you are one of the last April people, so hopefully they will move on to us pretty soon.
So since you are applying through Quebec, how is your process different???
You send stuff out to MICC and then they do make a decision on sponsorship and nothing goes to Buenos Aires Office??

No! its going to Buenos Aires too i only have one more step before.. my contract is not with the government of Canada its with Quebec.. i didnt to send a part of the papers that they ask cause its the Qc taking care of it. So i bring the things to the office of immigration quebec and after like 1 month they send the approval to the visa office. oh.. and i also have to pay 253$ more! loll

That blows though, it costs more and you have to wait longer....

Suerte with the extra step then. Maybe they will process it quickly in MICC and you will be in Argentina Office before you know it

i just wish this process would be faster and easier!!!! SI estan con sus parejas es mas facil pero si estas separado es muy duro snif snif. Espero de corazon que a todos les sea muy corto este proceso y asi podran embarcar en sus proyectos.

no i have not ordered CAIPS yet, since BA time line is a year....and I am afraid that by pulling out the file we will be put back at the bottom...you just never know.... I have to be faithful but sometimes it gets frustrating!!!

Hola,

I didn't email or called. I guess, since they didn't send anything it's because they're not working on my case.
But, I'm not that desperate because I'm here in Canada already.
I have sent emails inquiries to the embassy in BA and they usually reply within 24 hours.

Let me know how it goes.

OMG! loll
I just came back from work and I saw that my husband received an email from the VO saying his file number and that it could take around 12 monthS! lol.. i dont know if i should be happy that we receive an email or mad about the 12 months?? It says that an interview is frequently required? did anybody get an interview? Gosh.. loll its making me nervous!! I see that BA is not moving too fast on the case started last year and i dont like!

@ malirca : I was looking at the spreadsheet and you could add that my application was sent April 25, Meds done March 30 and AOR received on June 21! Cause its pretty empty and it would be nice to get updates from everyone! Oh well.. lol.. just trying to spend some time.. :

Im wondering about older applications? I cannot believe that nobody is getting news from June, July and November? Its frustrating that it takes so long.. Argentinians are really good people! lol ;D
