No problem :) from what we hear among people in North Africa, they have also experienced long delays. It may be because of the recent changes in medical exam criteria, although I don't know if that also affected those coming through sponsorship.

If you have been waiting longer than one year from the date you received AOR, then you can contact them and ask what's going on. Here you can see the processing times: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp?_ga=2.215680279.1485127779.1527189740-1996090860.1517250343

Since you are in Canada, you can also call them - this option is only available within Canada. Here is their number 1-888-242-2100

Hi there, you can ask them about the status of your application via this web form: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp?_ga=2.173034147.1485127779.1527189740-1996090860.1517250343 but only if it has been longer than the usual processing time. Check the usual processing time here, if you are beyond that, then you should contact them right away to ask what's going on: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp

Are you a provincial nominee, or did you apply through EE? That can also affect wait times.

Are they also coming through family sponsorship or EE? Because EE applicants usually get PPR way faster than everyone else.

Its Family Sponsorship not EE
If those people with the Paris VO are also family sponsorship then I am very impressed, usually family sponsorship takes longer, no matter what. I do know people whose application is being processed through that VO and have been waiting for a while though.

Hope yours comes through soon!

Oh, in that case I strongly suggest calling the number I shared above, 1-888-242-2100, since you are in Canada, that will be way faster than submitting the question through the web form. Hope you get good news soon!

Thanks for your help, does receiving pre-arrival services Email means that we are at the end of process?

Well, maybe. It is the last thing that will happen before PPR, so in theory you are close, but "close" could mean two weeks away, or three months away, depending on your general application, whether they are still conducting your background check or that of your spouse, and their workload.
