Permanent Resident Card (Renewal)

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on July 15, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on July 22, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on July 22, 2019.
4. Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on July 22, 2019. Your Permanent resident card will be mailed to you or if quality assurance is required, made available for you to pick up at a CIC office.
5. Your Permanent Resident Card was sent by mail on July 24, 2019.

Does anybody know how long the status takes from "decision made" to "complete"? For me, it has been in "decision made" state for 2 days.

For me , it's 5 days since the status is on "decision made". It doesn't say if it was mailed etc

The online portal shows that mine is complete and I am awaiting my card in the mail! Mine was an urgent application. I am so happy!

I called the IRCC and they said that I have to pickup my card at a CIC office. Do you know how long usually it takes this process? and Why they do this?

Its still saying decision made. Nothing else even its more than two days now.

Call IRCC to find out the status of your application.

I called the IRCC and they said that I have to pickup my card at a CIC office. Do you know how long usually it takes this process? and Why they do this?

Usually they said "We 'll call you to collect the Cards from CIC centre if you are selected for quality control review". I think they asked for this if they have some doubts about the physical presence. During the visit they check the passports their selves to see In/Out Stamps. At least this was happened to one of my friend. He forgot to mention one trip to USA (They went in the morning & came back same day so he didn't mention that as absence).

Its still under the normal processing days. If nothing will happen on Monday then I 'll call them on Tuesday.

This may take up to 2 weeks after issuance of cards (Decision Made). By the way it varies according to the case.

So Hope I shall get this with in few days.
