I replied to portal 1 on 20 July 2023. 22nd day, lets see how much time they will take to make an account which I think is not more than 30 minutes work.

Yes, I did the same. If you took the photo within 1 year, it should suffice.

My wife who lives in the US, and has a Canadian Visitor Visa, does she need to submit her passport considering her as an outland applicant? What should be the next step after I receive my eCOPR? TIA

If she’s an outland applicant, you’ll get PPR (Passport Request) and not portal request. If she’s planning on waiting with you (in Canada) for her process to be finish, you can send a webform saying that she’s in Canada and they will update it.

Pro tip for updating photo if you run into issue of pic being too bright or dark. Increase brightness by 15% , after upload crop anything below neck

sorry to hear that. would you mind sharing the time line between the first portal (asking for passport details) and the portal credentials? Hope you get ECOPR soon!

Unlike you, I haven't been waiting for a prolonged period, but I did respond on same day August 2nd, and unfortunately, I haven't received a response yet. I also submitted a webform, but that hasn't yielded any response/results either.
