Police certificate Mexico - Constancia de Antecedentes Registrales

Discussion in 'Canadian Experience Class' started by El Mexicano, Mar 13, 2015.

  1. Has anyone sent an application to the Canadian embassy recently? I sent my documents 1 month ago and they are still replying with:
"This is to acknowledge reception of your request for a Mexican Police Certificate in our office.

Your document will be reviewed. If they are complete, they will be shortly sent to Mexican authorities. Processing time for a Mexican Police Certificate is from 30 to 60 business days. Results will be sent to the office in charge of your application directly."

How do people know when their documents are sent to the PGR?

  3. Sir/Madam,

This is to acknowledge reception of your request for a Mexican Police Certificate in our office.

Your document will be reviewed. If they are complete, they will be shortly sent to Mexican authorities. Processing time for a Mexican Police Certificate is from 30 to 60 business days. Results will be sent to the office in charge of your application directly.

In case your application is incomplete or mistaken, it will be returned to you by regular mail and new documents will be requested. A letter indicating the reasons why they were returned will be included.

Please note that due to the high volume of applications we receive in our office, we cannot provide you with personalized assistance or detailed information. We kindly request you to be patient and keep your correspondence to a minimum.

Recieved this email when I inquired. Does this mean they have my application? Hope it is right and not wrong.

  4. When did you send your documents to the embassy?

  5. The package was delivered to the embassy on June 13th. I inquired about it yesterday at 8am and recieved a reply in the late afternoon.

  6. I'm getting the same email. I've asked them twice, app was received on June 13th. Is this normal? My God I hope it doesn't mean they are returning it.

  7. Hi all.
    I really need your help.

My documents were received on May 13 and sent to the Fiscalia on May 31. That means 50 days and 20 business days respectively. I got laid off and my last day in July 26.

How soon do you get a decision made once you get the police check in Canada?

    Thanks for your help.

  8. Any updates from anyone?

The embassy send my documents to the FGR on June 14th, but they still haven't sent the police certificate...

  9. Hello Everyone!!!

Our Mexican government it is really burocratic, even for this letter. Once you send all the paperwork it takes around 5 to 6 months to have your profile updated at the IRCC.

  10. Absolutely ridiculous. Everyone else is getting their COPR and we submitted our documents on June 13th and they probably sent them off on July 13th AND we have to wait for 30-60 business days? I mean I have patience and all but this is silly

  11. Any update yet?

  12. Yeap. The Canadian Embassy of Mexico is burocratic and they do not really care. I can see everybody else getting their PPR and Mexicans need to wait an average of 6 mo tha after submitting the PCC.

  13. I already wrote an email to the Canadian Embassy in Mexico letting them know how slow they are with this process compared with all other countries. While other countries get their letter online or in their embassy or consulate here in Canada.

  14. I sent an email requesting for confirmation. They replied that my application was mistaken/incomplete and was returned to my address.

  15. Has anyone had their documents returned to their address (incomplete/mistaken)?
I don't know what I could have made wrong, I checked and sent all the required documents. I'm worried the package won't even make it to Canada. Any advise?
